The one to beat!
Review by daughter:I'll start off by saying that I am a fellow 'nervous flosser' and it's comforting to know I'm not the only one!I originally purchased some Dentek floss picks last year (they lasted me that long), but when trying to find them again, they'd just disappeared! So I found these cheaper ones n thought... they can't be that bad surely?! And 200 for like £3-4, that's a bargain!I've used ONE... and I'll never make that mistake again :')If your teeth are close together, it's like sliding a guitar string between them. Except it's not melodious, it's just pure torture.I received my Dentek ones yesterday and I had the most glorious floss before bed!The floss is silky & smooth and glides gently between teeth... and I've also noticed that the pick on the end isn't too sharp, so you're able to 'pick' comfortably without murdering your gums. They're also super minty (you can smell them as you're opening the bag).Really happy with these. 150 in the bag for less than £7, so great value for money... and your teeth/gums won't hate you :)The saddest review I've ever done, but I hope it helps.Happy flossing!

Nice and soft for flossing! Package fitted through letter box
Nice and soft for flossing! Got these as my local supermarket didn't have the sensitive ones in stock last few visits. Tried some right angled ones but they really hurt ! Looked on Amazon for some sensitive ones and these seemed good value. You get a giant packet for them all but it fitted through the letter box fine. Very happy that can floss without pain!

Still searching for the perfect floss
Having tested various types of floss on the reel, the FlossGrip Dental Floss Holder, and a few dental floss picks (like this one I'm reviewing), I'm still looking for the perfect floss.Things I like about this one: the floss is flat and silky, and it has flouride (although I doubt very much this is an effective way to deploy flouride to your teeth). I also really like the shape which is curved so it doesn't bash against gums like the FlossGrip. The toothpick on the handle end is brilliant; the point is very sharp but plastic not hard, so you can't hurt yourself. Price is keen, given there are 150 in a pack.Things I don't like: the plastic that holds the floss is a little flimsy, as such the floss itself doesn't stay tight by the time you've flossed a few teeth. Also the floss itself is quite thin, which means it wears out quickly - possibly before you've finished flossing all your teeth in the first use.In summary, a good design, but floss and plastic mount are not quite durable enough.

Great toothpick and flosser.
Great product. The thin tape gets in all the gaps and the pointed end is a great toothpick, I bought an additional pack after trying the first time.

The Best Floss Picks Around!
These floss picks are the very best for those of us with tight spaces between our teeth. My teeth are so close together even my dentist struggles, and I have rarely found any tape that will work effectively for them. The tape used in these Comfort Clean picks is super smooth and glides between the spaces with ease. The mint flavour adds an extra element of freshness, but isn't overwhelming as with other brands. I find the pick itself strong enough to be effective, but flexible enough that you can get into every space easily.Another aspect to these is the ease of use. If you have a disability that affects your dexterity as I do, or just find flossing tricky, floss picks can be a great choice. They are much easier to hold and use - no faffing with endless lengths of floss!I have tried Crest and other brands and find these cut my gums and leave bits of tape stuck in my teeth. Not so with Dentek, they seem more gentle, yet still give a great clean. The only downside is the floss does shred after a while but I have yet to find floss that doesn't do this!I fully recommend these if you have tight spaces between your teeth, or if you struggle with regular flossing. They're a regular in my shopping basket :)

Just right!
These floss picks are perfect, good design for ease of use. The floss tape is not too thin, and is very strong, so each pick can be used more than once. Very good value in bag of 150, which can be decanted into smaller container for bathroom cupboard. Lovely waft of mint when you open the bag!
