Perfect Backyard Projector
The GooDee 4k projector is an cost effective projector with an awesome picture. The projector is a bright ultra-portable projector that is good for viewing HDR or SDR content in a dark room or with low ambient light. The bright and vibrant colors make it a good choice for a backyard theater. We use the projector for watching movies in the backyard and it provides a clear and precise picture. It has a good image quality, brightness, and contrast, as well as good sound. The projector is easy to setup and easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable projector with a great picture.

The video reviews are real! IQ for a Benji?
Impressive IQ for the price. I just went with the review ratings when picking out a ultra budget projector and this little gem has some amazing definition and brightness. There's screencasting features for wireless connection for online movies and a tiny but useful speaker if you don't have sound bars. Overall, a solid buy. I bought a 2 year protection plan so even if the bulb dies, I'm covered.

Bring your own popcorn.
This projector is fantastic and the picture is clear, no projector screen required. Sounds quality needs just a little more, but you can always add some speakers. the adjustment to screen size is great. The HDMI ports allow streaming from apps. Wonderful movie night with family.

Amazing deal!
Awesome deal! I've been through a few different projectors. They all seem to develop black spots, or the picture starts fading out or turning yellow, won't stay in focus after just a couple of days or weeks into operation. Well, not this one! I bought this baby in March 2024, it's been running steady since. 18 hours a day. Seven days a week. It's been hands free for the most part. I dust it when it looks dusty and I've adjusted the focus twice in 16 months. The picture is still as clear and crisp as the day it arrived. I have no complaints. I got to give credit where credit is due.

A Whole Lotta Bang For Your Buck!
I never was a fan of having a large TV in the front room. I liked the idea of keeping the aesthetic nice and simple..keeping it welcoming for guests and family time but at night I secretly wanted to be able to enjoy a nice movie with the family on a projector screen. We had a huge wall with nothing on it, so getting a projector that looked nice was always something I wanted to get into but the entry level pricing, and mounting and wiring and maintenance always kept me away.I pulled the trigger on this one because the reviews seemed to lean on the positive side and I wasn't looking to spend a huge amount of money on something I knew nothing about. Once I got it, I was VERY surprised at the quality experience this budget projector offers. It has 2 HDMI inputs, standard AV composite inputs via 3.5mm jack connector and Bluetooth audio connectivity. I paid $129 and it was worth every penny! My only complaint is that you can't control the projector volume or bluetooth speaker volume with a Roku or Apple TV remote. If it had that, this thing would be perfect! So you have to use the projector remote to control the bluetooth volume or the builtin projector volume. I highly recommend using a BT wireless speaker or use the headphone output wired to an external amp to manage the sound. For less than $200 it's alot of serious bang for the buck. Alot of projector snobs and purists will scoff at these kinds of projectors and call them "toy projectors" or "Chinese junk" but for the money it's very hard to beat. Especially if you want something that is super simple to set up and doesn't take up alot of room.Blu Ray and high def content look great and DVD's also look pretty darn good. I haven't tried connecting any 4K sources to it, but I read that it downscales the resolution down to native 1080P anyway so it's not a big deal. We have ours set to about 125inches so it takes up a pretty large wall and it looks fantastic. At night I have my own grindhouse cinema right in my living room!I am sure there are other branded projectors with similar stats but this one suits my needs just fine. If I can find one that handles true 4K and 3D with bluetooth wireless audio I'll be on cloud 9! But I can wait... for now, I am happy with this budget projector. A great value for the money.

So nice that I bought it twice!
I bought this projector after my Vankyo V600 finally gave up the ghost, and I have to say that this unit is really nice. Despite its smaller size it outperforms my old Vankyo projector in almost every aspect. It's got a smaller footprint, far quieter when running, has better color reproduction and contrast, and even projects a larger image size despite being closer to the screen than my old projector.Be mindful of is that it lacks autofocus, which means you have to adjust the keystone and focus manually. Not a monumental task, but autofocus features on other projectors are more convenient. Once you reach the sweet spot with the focus, the image you get is excellent and crisp. Another is that speaker quality is decent and loud, but not the best; you're better off running your audio externally. Although there are screen mirroring options, it's somewhat laggy. Still, the 2 HDMI ports make it easy to plug in a Fire stick for your streaming purposes. In terms of brightness, like almost all budget projectors it performs best in a dark room. It can be used in a semi-lit room, but in full daylight I wouldn't bother.I got this projector the first time with the included discount, and it was definitely worth it! I bought it a second time because it frequently goes on sale, and use my 2nd unit as a travel projector (my 1st unit permanently remains at home). This is a good casual starter projector that doesn't break the bank.

18 month lifespan
Bought in November 2023 and it died April 2025. Not a bulb issue, the entire unit died and will not power on. It worked well while we had it, user friendly and fairly good quality for family movie nights. I just wish it had given us more than 18 months, but for the price I didn’t have extremely high hopes.
