The media could not be loaded. This is my honest review of the Kastking cutthroat fishing pliers and braided scissors.They both feel really nice, and the build quality is great. They have a bit of grip to them as well. The line cutter on the pliers is sharp, but the scissors are very sharp! They cut line very smoothly. But, just so everyone knows, the scissors have very very tiny serrations so they can’t be sharpened again. I’m not sure if that’s a deal breaker for anyone, but I honestly like the serrations. They are pretty lightweight, and the pliers sheath fits in all of my jeans pockets. They are easy to use but one thing is that the pliers take a bit of force to get in and out of the sheath. I have only ONE complaint. I wish that the scissors would have come with some kind of sheath. But they do have a hang hole. Oh, and there’s one more thing. The carabiner might as well not be included. It’s absolutely trash. I don’t think it could have supported 1lb. It was like, bent, and the latch part was completely broken. I just threw mine away and used a different one.Overall, I think these are great for the price, considering most name-brand fishing pliers are $30 and these include scissors with them. I am very satisfied with my purchase. (Other than the carabiner).

they give you a lanyard for the pliers but not for the scissors. sheath for the pliers not for the scissors. other than that they are great tools. very nice. seem well made. I feel like the people who design these things, have never used them as intended.

Nice to have for cutting line when you need them. Work for braided line as well. My nephew loves them

Great product with a ton of versatility and fun room build it. The line snips blades came loose but the hex screw allows for easy adjustment

I’ll start by saying I really like this set. The pliers are a good fit in your hand and the jaws are good including the split ring tip. I have learned to love the lanyard. As a guide, my customers and I handle a lot of fish on my boat. I have lost pliers being caught in the net, setting them down on the gunnel and the best, being dropped overboard. I hook them to a rod holder and have a set each side of the boat. I like the orange color so they stand out. The lanyard could be a little longer, but at some length it will become a mess too. The scissors are a little smaller than I expected, but work just fine cutting braid.

Worked great, scissors are sharp and cut clean.
