Quality for the price, great lock/release
I bought this knife as a daily carry. I wanted something cheap yet slightly better than rust-prone D2 steel.Gotta say it’s pretty nice. I haven’t tried high end steels but this steel seems to hold an edge pretty well, sharpens well, and I have not had any chips or deformation with the edge.Knife looks great; people comment on how nice the stainless handle looks. The action is great too. You can flick it open with any finger, it’s balanced great. The only “cons” are that the spring in the locking pin can get sweat and water trapped inside so it tends to rust. Not sure that there’s any way around that though. The other thing is that you want to use loctite on all your mounting screws to avoid the screws backing out over time and for the blade to not get too loose.Overall, it’s held up to use in construction and around water pretty well. I’d buy it again if I lost mine

Great Value Knife
Great knife with a good weight to it. The action is smooth and the lock strength is very strong. Button has stiffened a bit over time, but still works great. Would make a great gift.

Very well made EDC
Sharp out of the box. Really smooth action and feels very sturdy. Nice handle, enough room for a firm grip, doesn't slip. Very functional drop point blade, very handsome knife. All materials, fit, action seem top notch. For about $50--you can't go wrong. I find it very useful around the house and yard

Very light pocket knife of high quality!
Not a bad knife for the size and price. It's the first time I've had a knife with this kind of lock, though. That's the one new thing I had to get accustomed to. Other than that, it's light, balanced, and easy to sharpen or hone. Good knife for the value, for sure.***Edit: Over a year later, and this CJRB Pyrite still holds up. I'm used to carrying folders that were a bit on the hefty side, but don't let the lightweight nature of the Pyrite deceive you. This knife stays sharp. I hone it regularly with a nice, soft piece of Latigo leather. You can feel how solidly the blade has been hardened when you knock the spine against your knuckles. And for the price, this squares up with bigger brand names for its' form and function. This knife comes in handy and does its' thing well. CJRB is a brand you should look into when it comes to quality knives. 10/10, highly recommended, bumped up my review to five stars from the previous four.

It's a, 'Flippy Skippy'.
I had seen many positive reviews on this knife. I noticed it was on sale for Prime Day. So, I grabbed it for $40. Now I see that they are offering a 20% discount, making the black G-10 version (like what I bought) the same price. So, in some respects, the 'thrill is gone' on the deal. LOL.Now, about the actual knife. I am a Ganzo fan, and I own a few of their knives. For what you get for the money, Ganzo is tough to beat. But, I was interested in trying a more premium button lock knife. I tried a Sencut, but it was defective. I have been impressed with how lightweight the Pyrite seems to be. The action is really nice. The fact that I can hold the knife and shake it and the blade comes out...that gives me pause. Maybe I will get used to it?Overall, I like the Pyrite. A nice, deep carry clip. Cool blade shape, decent steel. G-10 scales feel fine. Fit and finish...no worries. It's a lot of fun to play with, and I'm going to carry and use it for a bit.I think this is a pretty safe option if you want to check out a good quality button lock knife.

A Sharp, Ergonomic, and Affordable EDC Pocket Knife
I recently purchased the stainless version, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this product. This knife is a perfect addition to my EDC collection and has quickly become my go-to option for daily tasks.Firstly, the ergonomic design of this knife is exceptional. It fits comfortably in my hand, allowing for easy maneuvering and maximum control. Additionally, the weight of the knife is just right - not too heavy, not too light - making it easy to carry in my pocket without feeling cumbersome. But what really stands out about this knife is its sharpness. The AR-RPM9 blade is razor-sharp straight out of the box, and it holds its edge extremely well. I have used it to cut through everything from cardboard to thick rope, and it has not let me down yet.The button lock mechanism is another feature that I love about this knife. It locks the blade firmly in place, giving me the peace of mind that the blade won't accidentally close on my fingers. The operation is incredibly smooth and easy to use with just one hand. The price of this knife is a steal for the quality that it provides. It is an outstanding value for a knife of this caliber, making it accessible to anyone who wants a high-quality EDC knife without breaking the bank.Overall, I highly recommend the Pyrite for anyone in need of a reliable and affordable EDC knife. Its ergonomic design, good weight, sharp blade, great button lock, smooth operation, and excellent cost make it an outstanding option that you won't regret purchasing.

CJRB Delivers a Winner
CJRB delivers a lot of EDC knife for the money. The Pyrite is certainly no exception. This model delivers value for the cost delivering good fit and finish for the budget minded shopper. Factory edge is sharp and the action is just what you would expect. A good knife for us "Mere Mortals" and one that has become iconic since its release.

The Luigi. The All-rounder. The Do-It-All. Jack of All Trades.
If you're thinking about this knife. Do it. At this price point you WILL NOT find a better knife. From the leaf blade shape, to the button lock, to the steel handle, everything feels solid. I own a lot of higher end knives (see picture). I play with this one the most. I use it the most because it's so damn inexpensive. I have a great time using it too because of that. Everyone's different with their knives, but I hate scraping packaging gunk off my Demko's or my Microtech's. This puppy is my go to for everything. Will be buying the Large version, since I just found out they make one!
