Versatile clone of Kilian’s Angels Share
I recently got a new perfume: Maison Alhambra Kismet Magic, and my first impressions are nothing short of enchanting. The fragrance arrives in a sleek, black cardboard box with gold embossed lettering, exuding a sense of luxury. The bottle itself is a simple yet sophisticated round glass design, capped with a golden lid that feels substantial in hand. Maison Alhambra has put thought into making this perfume feel special even before the first spray.Kismet Magic is a warm, inviting oriental vanilla fragrance. The journey begins with a top note of cognac, delivering a rich, boozy sweetness that feels both indulgent and refined—like sipping a fine spirit by a crackling fire. As the fragrance settles, the heart reveals a beautifully balanced blend of cinnamon, tonka bean, and oak. The cinnamon adds a subtle spice that’s never overpowering, while the tonka bean brings a creamy, slightly nutty warmth. The oak note grounds the composition with a woody depth, giving it a sophisticated edge. The real magic happens in the base. The dry-down is a smooth, velvety mix of praline, vanilla, and sandalwood. The praline adds a touch of gourmand sweetness, reminiscent of a delicate dessert, while the vanilla is soft and comforting. The sandalwood ties it all together with a creamy, woody finish that lingers beautifully on the skin. It’s the kind of scent that feels like a warm hug but with an air of mystery and allure. While inspired by Kilian’s Angels’ Share, Kismet Magic captures a similar boozy, vanilla-rich DNA but stands on its own with a slightly lighter, more wearable feel. It’s not as dense as some gourmand fragrances, making it versatile enough for both day and night. I’ve worn it to a casual dinner and received compliments, but I can also see it being perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion. On my skin, it projects nicely for the first few hours and then settles into a pleasant, close-to-skin scent that lasts most of the day. It’s not a beast-mode fragrance, but for the price point, it’s more than respectable.Overall, Kismet Magic is a delightful surprise. It’s warm, inviting, and just the right amount of sweet without being cloying. If you’re a fan of boozy, vanilla-based fragrances with a touch of spice and wood, this is definitely worth trying.

Perfecto
Kismet Magic is an enchanting scent that strikes the perfect balance between elegance and sensuality. From the very first spray, it captivates with its divine cognac note, adding a warm and luxurious touch that feels both indulgent and refined.Unlike overpowering fragrances, Kismet Magic is smooth and inviting, making it perfect for both daytime and nighttime wear. It exudes confidence without being overwhelming, leaving a sophisticated trail that subtly lingers. The only downside? Its longevity is around five hours, which might require a reapplication to keep the magic alive throughout the day. However, the exquisite blend and unique character of this fragrance make it absolutely worth it.If you’re looking for a scent that embodies elegance, warmth, and a hint of mystery, Kismet Magic is a must-try!

Great for the price, but not better than Khamrah
For what it is, you just can’t beat it. At $17 it’s an excellent dupe of Angels Share, and this was the fragrance that inspired me to start collecting in the first place. The longevity is solid if nothing special. It’s one that lingers for a long time even tho it stops projecting after a couple hours or so.Now that I’ve been collecting for a few months, I will say that, if I was to buy it again, I’d rather spend the extra $10 for Khamrah by Lattafa.Kismet Magic is very linear and less complex than Khamrah, and once you smell them side by side you can only notice the differences, rather than the similarities. It’s not a matter of “this is bad, the other is good”; rather, Kismet Magic is a great starter fragrance but, if you want to skip ahead a few levels, you absolutely can. Additionally, Khamrah Qawah, the coffee-focused flanker, is easily my favorite fragrance I own, and I’ve got about two dozen at this point. It’s a humble collection, but Lattafa’s DNA is just so good.I’m planning on replacing this with Lattafa’s offering come colder weather. But Kismet Magic will still be a great option for layering with drier, earthier scents in the meantime.

Apple pie in a bottle 🍎 🥧
This literally smells like cinnamon apple pie in a bottle. This will make a great addition to anyone’s fall fragrance collection. Many reviews recommend letting it macerate, so I will do this and see how that impacts the scent bit is sweet, spicy, and bakery ready. Depending on how you layer this fragrance, I find that it is truly unisex.
