I wanted a cost effective dropper to see it I like droppers.The good:I do like a dropper post. No noticeable play in the saddle (up or down), stays down while jumping or riding stairs. Would have given it 3~4 stars if it wasn't assembled on Monday morning.The Bad:Amazon charges the buyer 10 euro to send back a product that is broken on arrival.This makes returning it a very bed deal.This is why I decided to open it up and see if I could fix it myself. After seeing the inside... this one was assembled on Monday morning... when the coffee machine was broken, unfortunate but luckily fixable.No data/assemble manual available on Humpert website (the link is broken)After disassembly and removing the sharp edge on the slider bearing/(open) bush (that made the dropper sheer aka not function) and applying some extra (?) grease :It's an "ok-ish" product.Although if your seat post is at an angle ensure you weight is approx 90kg or more, if not you will be operating it like me;Pulling the lever with one hand and pulling yourself down on the handbars with your other hand.After the first +/-25mm compression the dropper moves down a lot easierer but still the first 25mm are challenging.Moving it back up works as expected.As a side note:It is possible the shorten the dropper on the bottom side approx 15mm. No need to disassemble. Al this will do is shorten the threaded pipe. Keep in mind that if you do this you will need to adjust the minimum insertion depth and I think this could create warranty issues.Why shorten it?I use the dropper on my dh bike and as you can see on the photo a long seat post will interfere with my rear suspension so I am real happy that I could shorten it 15mm

Die Sattelstütze funktioniert, ist aber für leichte Personen nicht optimal, da sie wegen dem geringen Gewicht der Person zu langsam absinkt. Leider kann man auch nichts verstellen. Ich behalte die Stütze trotzdem , weil es zur Zeit keine Alternative für mein Fahrrad mit 27.2 er Klemmung und ohne Kabel gibt. Ausserdem war der Preis ok. Ich suche trotzdem weiter... Ich denke auch, dass die Empfehlung, dass diese Stütze für ältere Leute gut sei, nicht gut ist, da die älteren Personen zu lange die Hand vom Lenker haben um die Stütze zu bedienen. Hier sollten sie besser zu einer Stütze mit Remote Hebel am Lenker greifen.
