You need an inkjet printer…
I didn’t have one of those, so everyone got very boring Birthday Cards. I told them they were original replicas of the World War Two Italian flag.

A4 Foldable Greetings Cards
I have used these on many occasions in my Canon and Epson Printers, and have never had any problems with them. They are a great all round card that you can print on the inside and outside, and are great for the price.

The best inkjet card I've found so far
This card is plenty thick enough for greeting cards, but thin enough to go through an inkjet printer. (mine is an Epson XP-55). The glossy surface gives really good, vibrant colour rendition. The cards are pre-scored so fold easily, and can be printed on the reverse side which is plain and not glossy, but perfectly ok for printing a message. My printer does not like printing both sides at once (duplex) but reloading to print the second side is a small price to pay. The envelopes supplied are rather good quality - nice and crisp and white. This is what I've been looking for for ages!

Did not work well in my HP printer
Although the card itself seemed of good quality it did not work well in my HP printer. The gloss side would only print from tray 2 whereas the matt side would only print from tray 1. Even then they frequently slipped so it only really worked doing a single copy at a time. I wasted half the pack whilst I worked this out. And when I had worked it out it took a very long time to print the cards I had remaining. Of course it might just be my printer that’s the problem……..
