Is it relatively quiet? My current winch makes super loud ratcheting clack-clack-clack sound which I don't like. Thanks!

This has the ratchet sound also. It’s not quite. I’ve never heard of a quiet one. Good luck.

what is the bolt pattern and dimensions of the the footprint?

Yes, to question 1. Not quite sure of question 2, but they come in several different pound ratings. I don’t remember, what load rating of the one I bought. I think 1500. They are great winches.

Just bought a new one at Bass Pro and the handle is too long, it hits the boat. Anyone had issues with the handle being too long on these?

No issues after installation. I have one with a shorter handle. If interested let me know.

Great product, feels really solid and super easy mount. Went to get started and realized my old winch was only a two bolt mount. Fulton knew that when they designed this beast and already had holes where they were needed regardless of the mount style on your trailer. Compaired to the OEM winch that was on there is like comparing a VW to a tank. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in spending the extra dollars on this thing.
