Works and looks amazing
I purchased this when remodeling my kitchen to update my cabinets. They are older and had no trim on the edges. This stuff made them look new! It was so easy to use and made such a difference in the appearance. It’s been months since we used it and it still looks beautiful and has not broke loose. We applied it with a small heat gun and then trimmed any excess that needed it. I have also used this trim to redo a cabinet that was bought years ago and the trim had broke off and you can not tell the difference between the factory door and the one we replaced using this product. The adhesive works well and the price is great!!

Good product,a little thin, works as advertised!
The media could not be loaded. The product came as advertised, It had no colored variances, solid matte black throughout with no breaks. I would recommend a low to medium heat setting on your iron when applying, this product is made of plastic and has the potential to melt. The glue performed fine and stuck well, I had no problem taking off a small spot and reapplying it without damage to either item. Cleaning the excess glue was easy it just wiped off. It seems to perform well it doesn't scratch easy and I expect good durability out of it. Installation was quick and simple Just a simple iron on with low to medium heat and you're good to go! Good value for the price I would buy it again.

Pretty good, with a learning curve
The media could not be loaded. I bought an Ikea bookshelf to diy it into a pull out pantry door next to my fridge. It required me ripping the shelves down the middle leaving exposed MDF in edges. I planned to paint it but did an amazon search for alternative options and found this tape. I am not a professional so there are lots of oddities, like the shelves not winding up the same width, and of course MDF chipping from ripping with a saw. But back to this tape. No instructions came with it, which I was prepared for based on the reviews. I used my household iron and that there was some residue transferring onto the tape, and it looked terrible. Luckily, I was able to scrape it off and try again. I decided to use parchment paper as a barrier as I ironed on high heat. I had much better results. Also, nonpro tip: don’t try to tack one end then the other, then iron the middle. I found out again that the taoe stretches as you iron and caused a pucker in the middle, which puckered a bit. I was able to mostly iron that down to where it was acceptable without scraping that off too. About an hour total time and I covered 5 shelf fronts and two sides. It looks acceptable and I am happy with it. I may paint the chips or seal it with silicone calk. Overall I am happy with it. 4 stars since there are no directions n which would have saved some waste.

Must have for melamine shelves/boards
Installation with a home iron works perfect! Really added the finishing touches to my melamine board pantry and will be using for custom closets in the future!

easy to work with
We just did some new melamine shelving in a closet but needed this edging to complete the edges of the boards. Applying the edging is very easy. You only need an iron on about 400 degrees(cotton setting). It adheres to the board quickly. I was skepitcal at first putting this on, figuring it would be harder to apply but was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. There may be a small learning curve but nothing too much. I tried to take pictures of the edges so you can see how nicely this banding works.

Brittle and cracks easily.
I put these on a Murphy bed. It looks great, it is easy to put on. However, it is very brittle. You can easily snap it by accident. For example, I was handling the Murphy bed to install it in place and lots of places the banding broke off. However, I can see this being good for low traffic areas.

Works well and a good price
Don't try a heat gun or other hot appliance to adhere this edging. Use a common household clothes iron - it's the right temperature and is easy to control. Use it on a high setting (cotton, no steam) and keep the iron moving. This edging is very thin, so it doesn't take more than 10 or 15 seconds of heat to completely melt the glue. We're using it on 1" laminate and this edging is wide enough to leave about 1/8" overhang on both sides, so we can bend it over with the iron just a little to make sure the edge is fully glued. That little bit of extra width is great for clean trimming, too. A new or well-sharpened chisel blade with no handle is ideal. I happened to have a new jack-plane blade that was perfect. Put the blade flat on the workpiece, bevel side up, and make cuts toward the workpiece or directly sideways to avoid outward pressure that might tend to separate the edging from the workpiece. Repeat the cuts as needed to remove all the extra.
