GP23AE Ultra 23 A 12 V High Voltage Alkaline Battery (x10)

I have a number of ceiling fans in my home. Each has an associated remote control. I have found that the batteries in the remotes tend to last a very long time. However, recently one of my controls ceased to function. I tested the battery with a multimeter and it tested "okay". However, having a lot of electronic experience, I knew that batteries may test okay when not "under load", but, may not work in a device.Substituting a battery from another remote proved that the battery was no good. Seeking a quick fix, I looked for a replacement at a local "big box" store. They were "out of stock". So, I turned to Amazon for a replacement and purchased these. I could easily wait for delivery plus I have "Amazon Prime". As it turned out, this brand of battery is the SAME brand that was in the remote originally. So, I have some confidence that these will provide good service.I have purchased a number of "bulk" batteries from Amazon, both "brand" names and not. In each case I thought the price was very good and that the service provided was good.

Needed these for my subdivision's gate opener clicker thingees... they're impossible to find in stores so when I found them here, in a large quantity for a very low price, I didn't hesitate to purchase. Even if these don't last very long, their price is amazing so I'm happy no matter what. It's too good to be true considering how many weeks I searched locally and had to wait outside my gate to follow someone else inside. I also have a motorcycle that isn't sufficient to trigger the gate sensor that opens the exit so I normally use the clicker to open the entrance and exit through the entrance. Clearly that isn't possible when your clicker is dead (or even just weakened since it's not the normal distance as using it to actually enter) With this multi-pack, I can replace the batteries as soon as they're too weak to open the gate from exiting on motorcycle!

It keeps my cost of replacing batteries low

Worked great on my Craftsman garage door opener. Now I have a lot of extra's to last me years down the road.

I know I can go to Amazon and find what I need at a reasonable price and promptly receive the items.

I bought a device at Radio Shack (20 miles from my house) and returned home before discovering that it needed an A23 battery to be functional (poor packaging, guys!)Looking at their store prices, it would have cost me as much to buy one battery as it did for me to buy the 10 pack. Driving back to the store that day wasn't an option, and the on-line order was shipped next-day (yay Amazon Prime!), saving me both time and money.The world is an amazing place when I can order an item and have it delivered from halfway across the country faster and cheaper than I can drive to the "local" store to pick it up...

We bought the "GP 23AE 12V Batteries (Pack of 10)" to use in our super-old garage-door opener (remote) and in our Security alarm on our SUV and the batteries are totally awesome! Form, Fit, and Function are absolute perfection! We have purchased these batteries twice from Amazon and this Seller and we will continue to do so for the foreseeable future! Batteries not model advertised! Supposed to be GP 23AE which are Ultra Alkaline. But the supplier shipped GP 23A which are Super Alkaline. And also as commonly complained, the 50 batteries I ordered had use by dates of August 2020. But Batteries I got from Walmart are dated December 2027 (19 years from now). Another supplier has a picture of the same batteries also displayed as Ultra Alkaline showing expiration dates of 2018Seven Years younger! now you really know why they are so cheep! Can you imagine the batteries I am replacing (GP23AE) I have had for 6 years and they have a higher voltage then the new batteries supplier shipped to me! My old batteries measured 12.69 Volts. Suppliers batteries only measured 12.55 Volts. Absolutely unacceptable! I am an electrical engineer. I use these batteries as line conditioners for expensive interconnect and speaker wire that have very low battery drain. I am only replacing them because I don't want the risk they could start leaking. And about use by dates don't trust them. I bought replacement batteries when I bought the cables but never installed them. So The sat in my climate controlled home. I was shocked that even though there where still 2 years left on their use by dates, they measured much lover then the batteries I had installed in the cables. They were Duracell's. Always make sure any batteries you buy have long shelf life dates (approximately 10 years) or don't buy them!
