BIC Ecolutions Evolution 650 HB Pencil, – Green, 12 Count (Pack of 1)

My favourite pencils, I still use them after years. They are very durable and the quality of the pencil itself is particularly good. The only thing is if you use a not so good sharpener the tip ends up being not very efficient on the paper and you have to go over things twice to make them readable. I find they best perform when the paper has no lucidity (like classic printable a4 papers), whilst they are not very good on books that have pictures. If you plan to highlight a lot of things on classic uni/school books they might not be visible or the colour may not be there for a long Tim. For drawing, writing and taking notes on regular notebooks they are brilliant though.

These pencils have been a favourite of mine for years, for writing my music.. The lead is quite light, which is great for rubbing out, but not so frustratingly light that it is hard to write legibly! There is a good degree of flexibility in them due to not being wood, and have a nice design. The only downside for me would be the smell they let off when you sharpen them, which is not as nice as a real wood pencil.

I'm very happy with these pencils, they feel nice in the hand and sharpen well - I think there was an error in counting, however, as I received 34 in a padded envelope instead of 3 x 12 as ordered. Even still, at the price paid, I'm happy with the service. Some of these are travelling to a friend in the US whose son loves them & cannot purchase them locally :)

I am a keen scuba diver and had been frustrated with normal lead pencils that tended to disintegrate in water and rarely lasted more than a dive or two. I cut each wood free pencil into two with a junior hacksaw and then attached one (half) to the lanyard of my dive slate. The first one lasted ages and I even managed a whole weeks holiday out of half of a pencil. After giving some away to dive buddies, I have another 17 'half' pencils left that will probably last quite a few years yet.A good purchase that works out much cheaper than buying individually from dive shops. Would definitely recommend.

Since discovering these when my son started school, I've never looked back. The quality is unmatched by all other makes. Don't waste your money on more expensive pencils these are superb

These pencils are fantastic for kids because the lead doesn't keep breaking when you sharpen them. They have a bit of 'give' in them which must avoid the lead getting damaged inside the pencil.

Some are good but due to the flex in the pencils some don't sharpen due to broken lead

My kids didn’t like it. Point break every time write something.
