Solid Chromebook
At £305, I consider this a bargain providing you're happy to work in the Google ecosystem. With a 17" screen, it is a bit too heavy to work on your lap for extended periods and so this is best suited to sit on a desk. The screen is a TN panel, a very good one at that rendering in HD, but it can't compete with an lPS panel for clarity and viewing angles. It really is a laptop best suited to just getting the job done with minimum fuss. Although it only has 4gb of memory this is more than adequate for ChromeOS and it will also run Linux software successfully. Battery life is about 8 hours in the real world but as it's designed to sit on a desk you could just plug it in.All in all its a very good no frills laptop. Please note that this model is not a touch screen.

Great value for the money
Great price for a 2 in 1 laptop and tablet. At this price point can't find anything that matches it's specs that has a touchscreen. Positive points: build quality is above average, touchpad is great and responsive, screen brightness is really good, usb ports, usb type c, great battery life (started working at 100% for 6 hours and battery was left at 42%) easy goes for 8 hours of continuous work and browsing, big plus it that it comes with a pen for the screen, lightweight and easy to travel with. Bad bits: flimsy keyboard but you get used to it, poor quality front camera and that is about it. For this price point these are acceptable compromises. Won't be able to install microsoft office, but you can use it in browser and works well especially if you have a microsoft 365 account. 128gb of storage is enough and another great feature is that you can use multiple accounts on the device. I used to have a 15,6" windows laptop and switched for this one and don't regret a thing. I recommend this product especially if you want to use it on the go and rely on browser based work.

Good enough for the price
Needed a laptop quickly whilst mine was being repaired and saw this, saw the price and reviews and bought it.Now I’m very happy with the laptop in general, the screen is clear and it’s heavy but not so you can’t carry it comfortably in a laptop case/bag, the layout is simple but nice and the start up speed you can’t complain about at all. However … what is so annoying to me is you don’t know if you’ve got capitals unless you type and then it took me to google just to find out how to type in capitals without holding the capitals key down continuously. There is no back light on the keypad either which is annoying and would of been cheap enough to add that feature. Finally .. and I don’t understand why but the screen measured diagonally corner to corner of the screen display (measured how they do in store) it comes to 16.4” not 17” as advertised and this I’m completely flummoxed over as this is a top brand and no matter what tape measure I used or who measured it for me it still came to 16.4” (my son made it 16.5) but nonetheless it isn’t 17” close enough not to complain or return though. All in all I’m happy to use this as a comfortable spare that’s easy to navigate and has all the basic functionality you need.

Ideal for students and basic tasks
Bought at £279 with a crystal clear 17" screen standard screen (not touch enabled), excellent battery life, top notch keyboard, quick start-up, speedy lightweight low power N6000 quad core Pentium Silver and not too weighty (2kg) for a laptop of this size this is an excellent low cost option for students and simple online tasks. For the more experienced users Linux can be added to allow free onboard software to run without the need for an online connection (Open Office, etc) using YouTube tutorials at no extra cost. Ideal for typing up assignments and papers, online research, YouTube, Prime Video, etc. The machine is supported under Chromebook updates scheme for years to come at present and so will be ideal for school, college and university usage for most students. Coupled with a cheap refurbished desktop Windows machine for more heavyweight use and you're set for almost any work and acedemic task at a fraction of the price of a high spec 17" Windows laptop only.

Good quality
This is my first time buying a bu on this website, and I would not like to meet I wanted to buy a new one and ordered it quickly without even reading it. It just turned off and didn't even turn on.I had to go back and buy the same new one. I want to say the seller depended on the price of such a bu I paid for a new one. The experience is bad, even if it depends on the guarantees It's not profitable to send it all the time to repair and you're left without it. When work and study depend on a computerThe seller was kind and understood the situation Let me turn it off, which pleases me, and thank you

My first laptop at aged 53 and....
Got this for £139 with payments over 6 months. 21-11-23.I charged it straight away and you will know when it's charged as the light goes from red to white.2 minutes to set up and if I can set it up then anyone can set it up.For a capital letter - press shift and your letter - easy. For stuff you can't find straight away - press on the time, bottom right off your screen and that will take you to where you need to go.Camera - very good. Volume is not the best but it's not poor either. I charged it last night and it's still on near full capacity, 12 hours later. Granted, I wasn't on it much but still good to know.I won't need to have my desktop on all day now saving on the electric bill.I go to a caravan park twice a year with no internet access. As far as I'm aware, I can transfer my mobile data on to this laptop - perfect. If you're a parent and you're not rich then as a child I would be very happy if I was opening this on Christmas Day but that's just my opinion.I was tempted to get an Apple laptop at £799 for my first laptop but I thought - why? I've had this a day and for the price, I will be shocked if something drastically goes wrong.
