Used on my boat

Used these hinges on a large custom 1/2” thick acrylic enclosure. They have very little play in them and the polished finish is very good. I will be buying more for this application in the future.

These hinges look like the originals but are solid instead of hollow castings and are made of better much better material and should last a long time.

Good Quality and haven't rusted.

We are going to use these for a compost bin cover. I handed them over to my husband for his evaluation.The four stainless steel hinges in this set are relatively small with each half of the hinge (plate only) roughly 1.5 x 1.5 inch (37 x 37 mm) at the greatest dimension. They are, however, heavy weight, at ~5/32 inch (0.15625", 4 mm) thick. I measured thickness with calipers and the actual plate thickness varies within individual hinges and among hinges. I found a range of 0.137 to 0.153 inch (3.49 to 3.77 mm). That could possibly create a few complications for installation. The plates are free moving with no binding at the hinge joint. It comes with 25 1" x #10 stainless steel screws, allowing for one extra. These hinges will fold completely flat allowing for fully opened doors or hatches.This stainless steel is rated 316, which is intended for salt water and brine exposure. This is appropriate for boat hardware. My intended use is for treated wood and screen covers on a compost bin. The extra corrosion resistance will help protect the steel from the salts in the treated lumber.These hinges appear to be a good buy for the price. I checked some other sources and marine grade stainless hinges of similar size are priced $6.50 to $22.00 USD each, some of those without the screws. Here you get four hinges and screws for $24.99.I will give the product a 5 of 5 now, but may change that after they it out in the weather attached to treated wood for a while.

These are good heavy hinges that I used to make new hat he's in my aluminum boat. Have had these installed for a few months and multiple trips on the water with no rust or other issues. Boat is stored covered for reference.

These hinges are well made and heavy stainless steel. They are easy to use and attach firmly and tight.They are a good price and if you are in the market for hinges of this size, I recommend these.

These hinges although small are thick and very sturdy and they are great for attaching hatches or doors. They seem to be capable of doing the job with no issues and they are nice and tight to hold the door securely as well!
