Dimensions Precious Days Paint by Numbers for Adults, 20'' W x 12'' L

I usually get a PBN going into winter to pass the time when it's dark after work and too cold to do much outside. I really like the Dimensions kits. They have a canvas board rather than canvas cloth so you don't need to add the cost of a frame kit. There is more than enough paint and the included brush does a nice job even with the detail work. I would recommend buying a nice brush set with some larger brushes for larger areas.I gave it only a 3-star in the For Beginners category because of the detail work required to paint all the leaves on the trees and filling in the sky between the branches. Up toward the top of the tree I kind of free lanced by painting in large sections of sky and adding the leaves and branches by comparing to the instruction sheet and box picture. It was a little easier that way.

This takes a long time to paint because there are lots of tiny spaces. The final picture is well worth the time. Highly recommend.

This paint by number, like most "Dimensions" paintings is very detailed. Several fine detail brushes are required.This came out beautiful. I've enjoyed doing this painting. I have done several "Dimensions" paintings as well as some from other companies. I personally like to work with Art Board vs Canvas. Of course to each their own. Very good paint, and lots of it. As usual white, yellow and red don't cover well. I use a sharpie water based paint marker to cover the numbers before painting those colors.A rather large painting this will take a bit of time to finish.Work carefully and this comes out very nicely.At 72 years young I didn't have a problem doing this. It's a shame I don't know how to upload a picture of my work.

This took about 10 days. It was a lot of fun! Great to have a key with all the numbers & the board with numbers but without the arrows, which I HATE! Very well made. Was easy in my opinion. Finished product looks great!

The media could not be loaded. This painting requires the use of multiple techniques. You must mix colors, blend and paint a lot of thin, straight lines for the painting to come out as expected. Each part of the painting has an immense amount of detail. The end result is an absolutely stunning painting. The one downside is the painting is an odd shape. It is 20”x12”, which may make finding a suitable frame difficult. Overall, though, this is a beautiful piece that is well worth the time and effort.

I usually love all the paintworks pbns. This is a beautiful picture and paints go on smoothly. I do have one complaint tho. There were way too many blank areas! I realize the white areas have no numbers on it BUT there were so many other areas where a number could have easily fit yet it was blank. A lot of tedious checking back and forth with the guide to try to locate what that spot should be and then you have to mix the color to get it right. Never had this with any of their kits before. Although the final project is beautiful it was very frustrating and that made it less enjoyable. Be aware that unless you want to guess what color to use you will spend lots of time back and forth from the guide to the painting to try to locate a spot that has no number.
