The only USB outlet that is truly waterproof
I installed this as a replacement for a different style of outdoor USB outlet.The other brands/models did not last in the salt atmosphere for very long even though the manufacturers said they would. This product is much more elegant, takes up less space, and is still surviving the harsh environment with no signs of wear or corrosion so far. Very easy to install, does not require a large amount of room behind it, and I love the self closing spring loaded cover.

Better than the Dual USB-C model
I’m disappointed in the latest Scanstrut USB-C dual port edition but this one does make up for some of the shortcomings of that product. The USB-A port works every time. The USB-C works more often than not but the occasional wiggle of the cable is required. Disappointing based on the price and Scanstrut reputation.
