Essencial oils in small quanities are a very excellent way to get to know the ones you like.

I'm new to using a diffuser. For many years, I burned incense. I still do, but some of the scents bother other family members, so I was looking for an alternative.This box of scented oils gives you a very nice variety of clearly labeled oils in easy to open and close little bottles.When I put an open bottle under my nose, I can distinctly smell the scent of what is written on the bottle; some are stronger than others.The instructions say to add 10 drops to a diffuser filled with water. After doing that, several times, but hardly smelling the fragrances, I doubled up and added 20 drops. That helped the scents become more noticeable, but still didn't put out what I was expecting. I don't want to do more than 20 drops, because then I would go through the oils in no time.Overall, I really like this Laguna Moon Gift Set, especially with the assorted 16 oils, but I am taking one star away, because, to me, and apparently to some other reviewers, the scents just aren't strong enough.
