Whynter Upright Small Freezer Mini Freezer with Lock for Bedrooms, Dorms, Garages, Offices CUF-110B, Black Energy Star, 1.1 Cu Ft

I bought this freezer because I didn't have enough space in my regular freezer. It was packaged nicely and arrived in perfect condition with no dents. It was very easy to set up. It comes with it's own ice scraper and tiny ice tray and the keys to lock the door with. It got very cold very fast and the ice froze quickly. Once the ice was frozen I started using the freezer the same day. Everything has stayed as cold as it should. It's so quiet. Due to lack of space, I actually have this in my bedroom, close to my head by my bed and it doesn't bother me at all. So that's impressive. The temperatures have stayed steady and cold as long as I don't open it to show it off or anything. Which is tempting, because I think it's pretty cute. There's a surprising amount of space in there. I can fit exactly three 32 oz hydrapeaks on the bottom and six on the top. There's a couple inches of wiggle room between them all. But that gives you an idea about the capacity. This is a very good quality freezer and I'm really happy that I was able to find it at such a great price.

I’ve only had it for a few days, but I have to say I’m loving this little freezer so far. I’d been needed extra freezer space for a while, especially for the frozen dog food i have on regular delivery every few months. So I looked at a LOT of different small freezer styles (upright or chest) sizes, brands and reviews. I have pretty limited space in my kitchen for another appliance, but didn’t see the point in the truly tiny models. And the chest style would have been too large and not allowed me to store items on top. This Whynter model fit my storage needs exactly and holds even more than I anticipated. It was super easy to set up and quick to hit the freezing point, which it’s maintaining perfectly. Plus it had the best overall reviews of the many I researched when it comes to dependability. And it’s attractive for what it is — perfectly matches my existing stainless steel appliances — and I find it to be very quiet. I couldn’t be happier with it!As mentioned, I’ve only had the freezer for a few days so haven’t not yet had to go through the defrosting process. But as long as it keeps working as it currently does, I’ll continue to be satisfied. If anything changes, I’ll report back.

So far it's all good. This is the second mini freezer I had to order because the first Midea freezer was leaking something and all dented up. Same as the mini fridge I ordered. This one came on time, was packaged well, and didn't have dents on the front of the door. I'm happy with that. In time I will repost if all is well. But, so far so good. Nice black color. Just 4 or so hours after plugging in, it was freezing. I did wait 24+ hrs before plugging it in. Most are shipped on their sides. I like the way the shelves are each freezing instead of one area on the back or side. So far it's all good.

Perfect size if you only need a small supplemental freezer.The freezer arrived in perfect condition. No dents!Customer service was helpful and replied promptly with my question about the condenser breaker.Pros: Keeps food frozen, semi quite with a humming sound and is compact.Cons: condenser breaker turns freezer off every 9 minutes which the loud click can be annoying.The instructions state, do not place the freezer in an area that’s gets 0ver 90 degrees. (in my case, I was not able to keep in the freezer in the garage.)Haven’t had the freezer long enough to rate on longevity or manual defrosting.So far happy with my purchase.

Purchased a Whynter CUF-210SS small upright freezer with lock, stainless steel, 2.1 Cubic Feet recently. Its obviously a quality product, solid, and very well made. I got it to supplement the kitchen freezer and also for my Golden Retriever to provide freezer storage for her fresh (frozen) food. I put the freezer in the spare bedroom next to a desk. It has multiple levels of freezing and maintains its freezing temperature very well over time. It has extremely quiet operation. I had to put my hand on top of the freezer to tell it was running. In the bedroom there would be no waking up from the unit running. The Energy Guide indicates the estimated yearly energy cost at $$26. I am extremely happy with the unit. Thank you Whynter!

WONDERFUL! We are very happy with our Whynter CUF-110 Upright Freezer. We never used to have enough room in our refrigerator/freezer for a large bag of ice. But we’ve got plenty of room now.
