Works great. Easy to setup
This router works great.. super easy to use as long as u set it up right. I use Home Ap mode and run it as a dhcp server to poe devices.. the poe in and out work great. Love this thing

Nice Router with POE
The seller was prompt and price reasonable. Setup for my needs (extend WiFi coverage with Cat6/POE but no mains power) was extremely easy. The router is very small, which was nice in my situation.

Great device
Not easy to set up. Eth1 is the Poe port, but it’s also the wan port. When you try to set it up as a AP, lots of steps to change the port bridge, pull the port out of dhcp client and clear the fire wall rules. If you know MikroTik, pretty straightforward. If not, it’s a pain in the butt.

Great if a firmware update doesn't brick it
I bought this to configure it to connect to my phone's hotspot to provide an Internet connection to Ethernet devices in the field. With the first unit I purchased, I updated the firmware via the update feature in the Web interface and lost connection to it- I spent hours trying to recover it and was unsuccessful. Months later I purchased another one and this one updated fine. It takes almost a minute to boot and connect to my hotspot, but works great and has been a real lifesaver when there aren't any other options besides paying for a dedicated hotspot with a data plan. The Web interface is powerful but not for beginners, so if you don't have an intermediate/advanced understanding of networking there are more user-friendly options out there that will work just as well.

Do not buy if you want to travel with it
This is a surprisingly unreliable product, for mikrotik. There's a known issue of the router losing wifi settings on power loss - which should be standard operation for this kind of device. It effectively becomes bricked, unless you can connect to it using cable.I purchased this for use during travel, so power loss is frequent. On top of this, the documentation for fully resetting the device to configure it from scratch is lacking. There's no official documentation that says exactly how long to press the reset button to fully revert the device to factory settings. I was able to do it once, and second time I am unable to (i tried all lengths of button hold).Of course the return window has passed while I traveled with it and found the issue. SOL.

Good stuff.
A great device to be used as Access point on the existing network or a small travel router.
