New Genuine Dell inspiron 15 5000 series (5559) AC Adapter Charger Power Supply 65W

Good quality lead

Really needed a "like for like" replacement for my broken original charger, went for the slightly more powerful charger as more able to do the job when required.

This is the fourth charger I have had for my Inspiron 5559 in as many years. The original, that came with the new p c, suffered the same problem as the next two - both Chinese knock-offs from my local repair man - in that after a while I kept getting the "Your p c does not recognise this charger, get a proper Dell one." OK, but note where the first one came from!This latest is 65w not 45w like the others, a factor that the error message seemed to ignore by telling me I needed 45W or more, and after a week is still working. I can't really comment on it's future performance & can only hope that there is not something built into the Dell p c (given the comments on the web I have to wonder) that will make this one "unrecognizable" in due course too. The thing itself seems well made & the service was good. Watch this space.

This was a life saver. I broke the power supply/adapter for my laptop which had a USA plug (since that is where I live) so I ordered a replacement while I was in the UK an Amazon UK. It turns out not only could I use this in the UK with the UK plug but also with the USA plug extension. They both fit the adapter and both work just fine. Very happy.

I needed another charger for my work laptop and was worried that this may be a fake. I was happily surprised to find it was actually genuine and has been working well for quite a time now. No problems and shows no sign of over heating. Will definitely be buying form this company for electronics again!

Very happy with the product bcos I wasn't going to spend over £100 for a charger when I knew I would find a similar one on Amazon. Arrived 6 days before the expected date and I couldn't be happier. I'll see how it goes after a few months, then I'll write a follow up review.

So it worked and the it stopped and it worked again and it stopped again and then it worked again...I don't understand if you pay the full amount for something why one has to go through the above experience?
