Bought this for my grandson as he had asked for it for his birthday. I think he will enjoy it.

Purchased this for my 5 year old daughter. She loves it and now wants to be a scientist. So much fun had doing experiments and making potions. Quality of the items far better than more expensive alternatives.

Niece loved it but was a bit messy

Birthday gift for my 4 year old nephew and looks great (not yet opened). Only thing is the photos of the item are a bit confusing as one says 6+ and another says 3+ but the actual box says 4+

We've used this set in the preschool class of our nursery (3 and 4 year olds) and used it as the basis for some further experiments around reactions and making more fizzing volcanos.The kids were so taken with it and it definitely caught their attention so I'd recommend this science kit either to have at home or a gift or to use in an early years educational setting. Fab quality again as we've come to expect with this brand too.

The set is well thought out and has a cool look to it. All the pieces are big and chunky enough for little hands to hold. Most of the pieces have an allocated slot they fit inside on the tray. The booklet provides instructions for 10 different experiments using the equipment in the set. The instructions are really good and easy to follow.We decided to try out the erupting volcano first. The ingredients required for conducting the experiments aren't included in the set, but they are all cheap and common items found in the supermarket. This experiment involved baking soda, food colouring and vinegar. It doesn't specify what kind of vinegar needed, so we chose to use distilled vinegar, and it worked. The trays lip contained the 'lava flow' and all the equipment was quick and easy to clean afterwards.My daughter really enjoyed helping to create the volcanic eruption and we're looking forward to trying out some of the other activities in the booklet.
