But fiddly to use on a baritone. Works great if you can tip and turn the instrument the right way.

This is a pull-through cleaner for a baritone sax which is a long and convoluted piece of pipe. A small weight on the cleaner helps position the string so you can pull it through, to thread it through you have to turn the saxophone over twice, which is an effort. But, once it is threaded, you can pull the cleaner through and most of the gunk will come out.However, it has a fairly large sheet of Chamois leather to do the cleaning, and even when inserted with care, on several occasions (about once every 100 uses) it has bunched up in the narrow top neck, and been almost impossible to pull through. One time, I managed to damage my saxophone trying to remove the cleaner. The repair man advised me never to use this kind of cleaner due to this risk, hence my rating - it usually works but can cause damage if it gets bunched up. He recommended a trombone cleaner instead, which I now use, which feeds in from the top end instead.

It's too risky using this type of cleaner on a baritone. The chamois gets stuck in the bend at the top end of the horn. Great for tenors and also but never for a Bari
