Forget the wasteful failing spray head. Pour the Ruglyde into paper cup & apply it w disposable paint brush. Run soaked brush between your rim and the inner tire bead. Easy peasy. Then brush the exterior of the tire inner diameter. Makes installing new tire so much easier.

I first started using Ruglyde as a young teenager in the early 1960s. My dad and his brother owned a Gulf Oil service station for over fifty years, and when I started helping out part-time, I quickly learned that Ruglyde was a "go to" rubber lubricant. We used it when mounting new tires, lubricating car fan belts, and anything else dealing with rubber. I had no idea it was still available until I needed to lubricate the belts on our golf cart. Though I could remember the name, I couldn't remember the spelling, but I got close enough that it popped up on Amazon! In my eyes, it's a great product! Back in the days when I first used it, the product came in a tin can, and we applied it with a brush. Today, we can buy it off Amazon in a spray bottle.

Excellent product! Easy to use, and you don't need a lot for it to be effective. Made mounting a new tire much easier. Great price, I would highly recommend it!

11 fl. Oz very small spray bottle enough for one set of tires just dont go spray crazy or ur gonna run out for the last tire. I am used to soap and water just wanted to give this a try. Its up to the person what method they prefer. Soap and water for my high milage vehicles if ever rust forms not gonna hurt my feelings

Makes tire changes easy!

Does not dry out as quickly as the paste style. I’ll buy a larger container next time but worked great with a motorcycle tire on a Rabaconda changer.

I was trying to change some tpms sensors and could not break the bead. I saw a youtube where this stuff was recommended. They were right. It says this product has been made since 1939. I sprayed it on and waited a while and then the bead broke. Boy did it make my life easier. If you are an amateur this may be what you need.
