I was very skeptical that these would work but needed something on my arms to help with sticking of pine straw and getting pricked by every hedge installed or cut. I tried them this past Friday putting out pine straw (which always leaves red marks up and down my arm, not to mention it was 94 degrees with heat index. When I first put them on, they felt a little tight, but I soon forgot about that and ended up wearing them most of the day for straw and for the sun. They worked amazing!!! You can see in pictures how it fits and how well it worked. I Highly Recommend these!! I am a landscaper 150lb and ordered s/m if that helps anyone...Try them you won't be disappointed!

Fits me like a glove. I usually overlap, so it goes over the bottom of my t-shirt sleeve which leaves no exposed skin. The rubber grips hold fast to my shirt so it doesn't loosen or fall down. When I put them on I usually fold the top of the sleve inside out so my arm can slide in smoothly and then unfold the upper sleeve over my shirt. I don't use the thumb hole so I can pull it up further on my arm. I wear gloves so I'm covered from the tip of my fingers to my neck. Keeps me sun free while I work outside. They also make my arms feel cooler. They're great.

My daughter is missing pigment on her left arm, so she needs extra protection from the sun as we live in the South. She is 10 and has very slender arms. The extra-small size fits her perfectly with some room for growth. She finds the sleeves comfortable to wear and they do fall down at all while she is playing. They are made from a nice fabric (she has eczema and finds some fabrics irritating) and seem very durable (only more time will tell). I will definitely be ordering more as they are completely worth the money.

I have olive skin and I hate that my hands and forearms get noticeably darker than the rest of my body, especially when working outdoors. I get overheated when I use long sleeves, too, but this little addition has been a game changer for me. If I get overheated, I just spray some water on my arms and the cooling fabric takes care of the heat. it is breathable, and the stitching is high quality. Holds up to my routine, which really helps long term.There are other brands, but this one's quality far outweighs the price.

Item purchased to help protect my arms from UV damage, limit abrasions, and to cut down on irritation. All three expectations were met. A nice side benefit was the cooling effect with just a slight breeze.I used the size chart provided in the description and ordered the recommended size. The sleeve length for me was slightly longer than needed but still a good fit for me!I have used sleeves for three straight days and roughly 7 hours each day, no sunburn, no skin irritation and stayed relatively cool (one day it was 91 degrees F).The lower part of the sleeve has thumb holes to protect the back of the hand. I used leather gloves which works better for me due to the heavier work performed. The upper part of the sleeve has finish to hold the sleeve in place. It does a very good job staying in place but sometimes it will pinch the skin. Nothing serious but I did notice this on several o assigns.Overall a good product that performs as advertised. One star downgrade because of pinching.I would recommend this product.

This is my second pair of Farmer’s Defense Sleeves and I will be buying more. They are much sturdier than other brands of sleeves and stay up much better. They also do well in the washer and dryer. The sleeves keep the sun off your lower arms while being much cooler than a long sleeved shirt. This blue eyed red head does not get a sunburn through her Farmer’s Defense Sleeves and they cover the hands better than competing brands. This pair is a nice green; my other pair is floral. A+ product.

I bought these for my husband to protect his arms while he is gardening. We live in the south where the weather is very sunny, hot and humid. He tells me the sleeves actuallly feel cool and loves wearing them.

Really tight at the top- forgot about my fat arms. But I'm 5’1” and a size M, so i thought the large size would be crazy. I should have called them before purchasing.Otherwise product is as pictured and of good quality.
