Well made, good value adapter
I bought the Pholsy adapter to mount non-G F-mount Nikon lenses to my Canon R5. I was looking for a solid, well-made, product that fit both the camera and lens mounts securely, without any play or excessive tightness. The Pholsy was very good in all these regards. Without any mechanical or electrical contact or control between the lens and the camera body, lens operation is entirely manual and there is no focus control or EXIF data collected on the lens. The Canon body has to be set to shoot without lens in the menu settings. Using the magnification button for the screen or EVF helps with manual focus. It works very well, giving my old Nikon lenses a whole new lease of life.

Works perfectly
I bought this to attach an old non-Ai 200mm Nikkor to my Canon R6. The adapter fits perfectly with no looseness at all. You just have to set the camera to shoot without a lens because the adapter has no electronic contacts and so the camera doesn’t detect a lens. Just go to the menu and select the icon with the camera and the scale under it before the star icon, go to option 4 and choose “shoot without a lens.” You can then shoot with the old Nikkor. Focusing is manual with the lens focusing ring, and you can see the focus in the camera’s evf or screen. What’s more, the Canon’s focus peaking works flawlessly. Exposure is set with the lens aperture ring, and the camera’s ISO and shutter speed controls, however you’ve set them. I almost forgot how nice manual focusing is on a real optical focusing lens. The results are images that equal and surpass the IQ of any of my RF L glass, with beautiful color and razor edge to edge sharpness. I was amazed. I’m leaving the adapter permanently attached to the 200mm, which will be in my camera bag along with my RF 24-105 f4 L as my travel kit. The build quality on this adapter is excellent. It also works with my Ai and Ais lenses. Highly recommended.

Don’t waist your money!
Do not buy. Not worth the money. It fit on the camera was and built well but there was no auto focus on the camera adapter.

Looks good, but didn't fit Rebel T7 (Verify compatibility before ordering)
Looks good but had to return it because it didn't fit the camera. Apparently Canon has many different mounts so be sure to verify your camera EXACTLY before picking lenses or adapters. This does NOT fit a Canon EOS Rebel T7. It fit perfectly with my Dad's old manual Pentax SLR lenses.I did not remove stars since it was my fault I ordered the wrong one without verifying compatibility. Other than that it was well made and I'm sure should work well on a camera it fits.

It works, but doesn't give your lens' full functionality.
It attaches well, and the photo quality is still great. But one thing to keep in mind, you won't be able to change your lens' aperture if there isn't a manual slider on the outside of the lens. If your aperture changing is internal, this lens won't support it. And autofocus won't work as well. But like I said, it works well and the image quality is still nice.

Adapters are more complex than they appear - and this is a decent one.
First, it fits the Exakta lenses I have reasonably well - I'd like better retention from the little spring lever, but given the difference in fit between my Exakta lenses, I suspect that that's as good as it's going to get. What's important here is on the inside.First the ring that accepts the tabs on the back of the lens is stainless steel - but on the inside it's not much larger than it has to be. A big stainless ring facing the sensor makes ugly hot spots and cuts contrast with some of my lenses, so the smaller the better. This one is not perfect, but it's not bad at all.Second, the geometry and anodizing on the inside of the adapter are also far better at cutting internal reflections than another brand I've tried. The matte nature of the anodizing is quite good, and the internal surfaces are highly angled. It's twice the price of the cheapest ones, and it's worlds better than those are. There are others that are hundreds of dollars - I would hope that those are better still, but I'm not spending that kind of money to find out, given the large number of adapters I use.

Reliable
Fits in perfectly, the knob to active the F is reliable, it focuses to infinity. The only thing that I didn't like was that I lost the special effect I had with the previous adapter that I used on my Canon 6D. The Canon 50mm F1.4 FL had a special look at 1.4, the image was so creamy and difficult to focus. With Pholsy, I get a fine detailed image I never had but it lost the effect, so I feel I have a whole new lens to explore.
