I gotta wonder: why is the built-in audio level so limited? It only goes to 15, and I could barely hear it. I had to use the TV remote to jack it up enough for comfortable listening. The chosen level doesn't stay there, either. As soon as you turn off the player, it defaults to something far lower, so you have to remember to turn it up to 15 again. Otherwise, it plays DVDs well. I have no complaints with that. I like the small footprint, too.

For $45 this player does a great job! Can't speak about the longevity, as I just got it, but all the functions work, and the smaller footprint of it fits well in my arrangement of equipment. Easy to setup and use. Presence of the HDMI hookup is a plus. I think this is a winner! A+++

I don't often do reviews, but this product deserve one. Love this as I can play my American and English DVDs. The quality is outstanding. I also like that it doesn't take up a lot of space like the old type of DVD players. The price is great, quality of sound is fantastic, and it plays through our Sonos system. It is so functional as it is so compact that I am also able to take this out of my house and use it in m RV. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a great portable dvd player. The instructions to hack it for all regions are clear and work quickly. It plays everything including CDs which means that I can use the soundbar for the tv as a stereo for music and I love that. The seller shipped it quickly and it arrived safely. Phillips is a reputable brand and I am very happy with my purchase.

Great purchase So glad I got. Cane packaged nicely and I set it up in 2 minutes. Picture quality was great and I could watch my movies with no commercials. Size is small which is what I wanted and have had no issues at all. So glad I got this
