Delivery was prompt. I was a bit apprehensive having looked at some reviews where the removal tool was thought to be ineffective and the glass cover broke when the oven was used. However the removal tool is robust and fitted and worked perfectly. I had tried to remove the glass by hand and it wouldn’t budge but the tool made removal easy. When the glass did come off it was cracked in several areas and I’m glad I didn’t try to force it by hand since it could have broken and caused a nasty injury. New bulb and glass fitted and worked well but I screwed the glass in by hand and did not use the tool. I think this avoids the problem of the new glass cracking. Don’t screw it in too tight, just light hand turn. Tested with oven taking temperature up and down in steady steps and no problems.

Good quality product and the glass cover was easily removed from a warm oven with the supplied tool. Bulb failed after 10 days so replaced with a branded one which is fine.

I tried for two hours on Sunday to change the bulb. I couldn't remove the glass bulb cover in the oven to change the bulb.The quality, value and ease of installation made the purchase well worth while.In two minutes of starting the job was done.

I recently had the misfortune of breaking the glass light cover inside our NEF oven when I accidentally caught it with the top of a casserole dish - much to the dismay of my wife! Anyway, I was pleased to see that the covers are readily available on Amazon, so I spent quite a lot of time looking at my options before deciding that this particular product offered the best deal - particularly as the price included a spare bulb PLUS a fitting tool. I was also impressed that the supplier provides all the appropriate measurements of the screw-in glass cover on the Amazon product page, so I was assured of purchasing the correct one for our appliance.I was impressed with the quality of the product received, and the wife was over the moon with the fact that within 5 minutes of opening the package I had fitted the glass cover and had our oven back in working order again, though I hasten to add that I’ve been temporarily banned from using it!

The bulb and its assembly tool arrived on time and securely. I powered off my oven from the mains switch and using the tool and a bit of effort, the old cover screwed off and i was able to remove the old bulb. I carefully held the new bulb in a cloth - (careful not to touch it with my fingers) and screwed it securely into position and screwed the glass cover securely into place.I then turned on my oven from the mains external switch and rest the clock on the oven and power own the over and the light turned on and it was fine. It worked fine for the last month (oven use would have been low - 3 time per week) so i was surprised to see that the bulb has failed today and thus i need to get a replacement that will last.So I cannot recommend this bulb set to anyone. €30 Euro for 1 elapsed month is very expensive..

I had a Neff oven that had a bulb blow in the oven. What I didn't know at the time was that this had been cross threaded in the factory. The idea is good but this tool is not rigid enough and bends when in use, a bit of a waste of time really, the oven was insured so got a Neff engineer out to solve this in seconds.
