AlgoneAquarium Water Clarifier and Nitrate Remover, 6 Filter Pouches

I have been battling for weeks with high nitrates and cloudy water after giving the tank a good clean. This little pouch has cleared the water to crystal clarity and brought the nitrates down to zero virtually overnight! Amazing product!

This works brilliantly, follow the instructions carefully and you'll have a crystal clear tank in no time. Our tank was particularly bad due to its position in direct sunlight, however after 2 weeks of steady improvement we replaced the bag and within a week it was clear as day. It's important to carry out 1/4 water changes on a weekly basis and you should change the Algone bag every 3-4 weeks. I can't recommend these highly enough.

It seems to be having some effect, still getting a little algae, to be fair it’s early days yet, but there does seem to be a slight reduction in algae on glass and rocks, but it’s only the second week of using the product.

Cleared my tank up a treat I started noticing a difference after 2 days and after 4 water was crystal clear, there was no more algae and nitrates have come down. I can go over a week now before a water change although I do 1 a week but that’s better than every 3 days. It’s a tad expensive but you get what u pay for

Removed nearly all my nitrate problems, the rest was removed by water changes.

Total rubbish did not work within a week being in my filter there was a stink coming from the water and when I opened my filter there was mould like fungus white gew growing out of it so I binned it immediately and I did a water change it also killed my clam but the rest of my corals and inverts were not harmed .Dont buy this buy it at your own risk it could do the same to your tank a waste of money I would advise everyone who keeps saltwater or freshwater not to buy this product buy it at your own risk I would prefer giving it no stars

Absolutely brilliant product. Forget all the expensive chemicals. Put a couple of the tea bags on your filter and watch the aquarium go crystal clear the nitrates go to nothing and happy fish!
