Absolutely worth it
Between the fact that you even produce these parts and the quality of the video joined to replace it, I'm stunned. But yes, it was perfect and managed to save a working pair of headphones. It took me about 40-50min to install it and reassemble everything, and they are now wearable again!Thank you so much for that, you saved me a very expensive rebuy!

Excellent product, challenging repair.
Product works exactly like advertised, repaired my XM4s with these. It took me over an hour in total, but I had to backtrack a bit at one point. A PH00 screwdriver will work for *some* of the screws, but not all of them. I believe the right screwdriver is the PH000. I do not recommend attempting this without a repair kit containing at least tweezers, screwdrivers and "prying tools" like the ones shown in the video (one thin tipped, one 'flat'". The Ifixit Essential Electronics Toolkit had all the parts I needed. With shipping and VAT, this came out rather steep for me, but it was worth it. The total is 5 out of 5 stars, but I would steer clear if I didn't have steady hands. Check the video and assume you doing this for the first time is about twice as difficult as it is for the experienced repairman in the video. Thank you CentralSound, with zero thanks to Sony!

Great fit and instructions
I bought this product to fix the swivel hinge on my son’s headphones. It is not an easy installation, but with the detailed instructional video doable. Thank you very much for the clear and precise step by step instructions!

Pricy but worth it
$30 was steep but the part worked flawlessly and saved my headphones. The packaging has a link to an installation tutorial which I used.

Fixed my headphones
Took me maybe half an hour to get done but now I don't have to buy a new pair of 300 dollar headphones! Be careful with the actual speaker while replacing this part though, I didn't realize it's actually got a really strong magnet in it so a screw got magnetized to it super hard and dented it (doesn't seem to have affected the sound quality or anything but definitely be careful about that)

Part had a defect but was able to be used.
The plastic hinge swivel seems to have a defect. There is an excess amount of material in the left opening( check photo) where the metal part is supposed to go. I had to grind away some of the material to properly insert the metal piece. I was able to finish the repair but the defect was annoying.

Worked perfectly for repairing my XM4s!
Worked great for repairing XM4s. Highly recommend Central Sound's Youtube repair video as well. I'm awful at DIY stuff and it was super straightforward and took about an hour to get done.
