WeWoodMen's Date Beige/Army Wooden Watch

The watch was intended as a Father's Day gift for my watch-enthusiast dad. Amazon got it to me in time, but upon arrival, the logo (metal tree) on the face had come unglued and was out of place. Because it is under the crystal, I doubted it would be easily repairable. A broken watch isn't much of a Father's Day gift, so I returned it. As it turned out, it probably would have been too petite a watch for my father anyhow. This was about 41 or 42 mm, and I think his current watch is 50 mm. (The larger men's watches are apparently in vogue?) It was cute, and novel, but I should have heeded the reviews on the other color options of this watch which warned it to be cheaply made. I don't know if I'd call it cheaply made, but I definitely got a lemon and I don't think it's worth the price tag at all! If it were under $50, I think I would have kept the defective watch for myself as a novelty. But, pushing $120, it's just not worth the money!

I've owned this watch for 5 months now, and I wear it almost daily. It has held up perfectly, although the act of removing links might lead to some damage. It goes well with nearly all earth-toned outfits, but looks a bit awkward with others. It draws a lot of attention and compliments for its uniqueness and simplicity. The clasp is made of metal, but it is anchored in wood (which might chip after extreme prolonged usage). Overall, this watch is entirely unmatched in appearance, and will satisfy you for a long time.

I liked the looks of this unusual watch but it is one of the flimsiest products I ever bought. When I tried to set the time for the first time the crown came out in my hand and could not be connected back to its gear.

I have had this watch for almost a year now and it still looks brand new. The piney wood smell is still infused into the watch and I wear it almost everyday (probably more use than was expected). I have never received so many compliments on something I owned in my life. Amazing watch that keeps great time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality watch that is also a statement piece. Just Beautiful.

I saw this watch in a women's magazine and loved it. I went to the website to make sure it will work for women and it says the watches are for men and women - unisex. It even says it looks "great" on small wrists. This watch is so big on my wrist it is UNWEARABLE. I am not a tiny woman (5'10") but there is no way I can wear this in any kind of professional environment. Unless you are one of the fashionistas they mention on the website and you plan to wear this 3 or 4 times as just another accessory, do not buy it.But that's not even my biggest problem with this. What's worse, the return period if you order from their website is FIVE DAYS!!!! You have - count them - FIVE days to decide if you like like the watch, put it in the mail, and make sure it arrives at their office if you want your money back. Obviously they know a lot of people will want to return it or they would have a more sane return policy.If you are interested in a WE-WOOD watch, go to a store so you can try it on before you buy.

Beautifully made watch. My husband was thrilled to receive it and wears it every chance he can. I so recommend this! Its great quality and super attractive on a man's wrist!

The watch even smells like wood. This is my second We Wood watch. The first was a dark wood finish.
