Play-Doh DohVinci Anywhere Art Studio Easel and Storage Case Set

My daughter has been asking for this for over a year. I had no idea what she was talking about and I found it on Amazon very easily. I thought it would be messy, like paint. But it's thicker like playdough. The only problem I have, is that it doesn't stick very well to anything. Even the cardboard pieces that came in the kit. She wanted to decorate her jewelry box, but was unable to because it doesn't stick. It also doesn't come out smooth at all. She has to push really hard to get a little out and then she ends up just using her hands to squish or roll it into a ball. I don't get the appeal, it seems like play dough would be more fun and less labor intensive, but she loves it, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

My daughter LOVES this. She went through the dough quickly though and we already had to buy a replacement pack. That's a good thing but also maybe needs to include a larger pack of dough. :) My daughter loves all kinds of art and has all difference kinds of clay for projects she creates. This was the perfect addition. Note, there are also not enough cardboard activity cards She started using paper and it is too thin so we needed to buy some thick paper for her to use with the refill packs.

We gave this set to our 7 year old daughter for the holidays and it was a big hit! She loves it and has already finished two of the pictures that came with the set! Using the pressure dispenser took some getting used to but after she got the hang of it she was in art heaven. It is very similar to decorating a cake like another reviewer has said, I used it myself and enjoyed playing with it as well. I d have given it another star but as also stated by another reviewer the refill packs can be pricey after a while and there aren't many refills to choose from. All in all I would say it's a winner!

This was bought as a Christmas present for my 9 year old daughter. She really likes it. She says its a lot like play-doh. I seem to think its a tad too hard to make anything that actually looks nice but my daughter loves it and that's all that matters.

Sister loves this! It entertains her (5 year old) for hours at a time. Surprisingly, it is not all that messy and it is super simple to clean up. We had previously given her the beauty stand DohVinci set which she made over the summer. It still looks perfect, so you don't need to be worried about it losing its beauty over time lol.

This is so much fun until the dough runs out. We got this for my daughter for Christmas and she used up all of the dough within 3 days. There are no refill packs. You have the art studio and can only use it for the 5 pictures that are shown and then it gets tossed in the toy box to rot with the rest of the toys that have been forgotten. If you want more dough you have to order another set, that set has nothing to do with the art studio. You get a whole other set. We got some of the dough on my carpet, it cleaned right up, just wait for it to dry and it will vacuum right up and not stain.3 stars because my child loved it. 2 star deduction for not thinking head and having more refills for it.

My daughter desperately wanted DohVinci for Christmas. I agree, it looks cute but Oh My! What a waste of money. First, the little gun you use to push the Play Doh out is very difficult for my daughter to use. She just turned 6 but she is about the size of an average 7 or 8 year old. It's OK for me but I'm fairly certain I'm not the target audience. The boards that come with the set are cardboard and I had to push out all of the recessed pieces as they were all still stuck in the boards. And those boards? Yeah, they're just coated cardboard. Nothing special there. The easel case itself is cute and handy. I could see carrying art supplies in it later on because it's going to need a new purpose soon since the doh in DohVinci is a one time use thing. You squeeze it out onto the board, let it dry and, yep, that's it. I knew all of this when I bought it but still purchased because I got it on sale dirt cheap and my daughter really wanted it. I was hoping the decorating part would be more fun but after playing with this for about 10 minutes on Christmas Day, it has not been touched since. The tool is hard to use and the doh does not stick well to the boards so my daughter just ends squeezing the doh onto her fingers and then smearing it onto the boards. I love this idea but I'd definitely just buy some regular old PlayDoh before I bought this.

This set is super nice. Doh Vinci products are a little harder to do than advertised. My daughter (8 yrs old) was a little frustrated with the results at first. She got the hang of it but it is very hard t follow the lines with the gun. She decided to do her own thing instead.

Great case to store Doh Vinci products. Unfortunately the green had dried up.

A requested birthday gift for my granddaughter. She loved it and made a lovely frame. I was worried by previous negative comments before I bought this but she has no complaints.

It is what it says on the box. I'm sure my granddaughter will have many hours of fun..

We love this but not how I expected it to go. I thought it dried out on the card but ours seems to have stayed soft weeks later.
