Great as a supplement for older cats needing calories.
Before my old man cat passed, this helped him get his calories in. I supplemented with this as it is very high in calories. My cat wasn’t eating much and I think this gave me more time with him. Great product!

My secret weapon for weight gain in kittens
These packets are AMAZING for getting my foster kittens to gain weight. They always enjoy these little packets and it helps them to start eating when they are sick or have a URI. I haven’t noticed it causing diarrhea and I think the price is spot on! I just put it right on top of their food or mix it in when I’m syringe feeding.

Kitten found us.
His name is now Frankie. He showed up on our back patio, sick with an upper respiratory infection and very malnourished. We took him immediately for veterinary care and got him everything he needed to be in the house. We also purchased this product to aid his recovery. He was very skinny. Within the first week we saw serious improvement. By the second week even his hip bones were less pronounced. He is truly thriving at three weeks. He's very playful with lots of energy and sleeping less. He keeps up with two Russell Terriers! Frankie loves the taste and expects it every morning.

LIFE SAVING FOR FAILURE TO THRIVE KITTENS.
These things are AMAZING. 1 pack is 25 calories and a small amount of food volume wise. Bought these for a failure to thrive/weaning/super picky kitten and I believe these helped save his life by getting lots of calories into him. Also good for some hydration for kittens that cannot drink water yet. Easily fits into a 1ml syringe (multiple times) and easy to eat. Said kitten is now doing a lot better and I still use these but mix 1 pack into his wet food every night. I believe they're palatable, he did like them the first few times I offered. You can also put it onto your finger or a baby spoon if they are willing to lick it off. My kitten just decided he hated food for a few weeks.

Cats enjoyed these
House of 9 cats here. We are an unofficial sanctuary. One of my babies, a 1 1/2 year old, caught a virus recently. I couldn't get him to eat and he was running a fever, so we rushed him to the ER. After a 2 nights stay, his fever finally broke, under 104*. However, even with the meds that they were giving him, he still wouldn't eat... We brought him home...where he continued not to eat. They even gave me something to increase his appetite (and nausea meds), but still NOTHING!I ordered these as an alternative to Churru's (those treats in a tube). Just like those, these are not meant as an alternative to food, but getting sustenance in him was the goal.He loved them! I almost cried when he finally ate something. Between these and Churru's, he finally got his appetite back and moved onto can food.*Side note, I'm keeping these on hand now. I bottle fed him and his 2 sisters plus the kitten I have now. Since these are a supplemental feeding for weaning kittens, they'll be a great option for a fast and easy treat next time (hopefully there won't be a next time, please spay/neuter you cats!!)Packaging: they are small packages that come in a bag! Each pouch empties easily on a plate, I honestly prefer this style since you can make sure you get everything.Food consistency: it's like a very fine pate, after you blended the s*** out of it. It's like a creamy paste.Cat reaction: even the picky eaters like this! When I give one to the kitten, the others will try to steal, even after everyone was full on wet food.I got the chicken, so the smell was fine. It was enough to allow the sick kitty (picture) to be able to smell it (cats have to smell food and it has to be appetizing for them to want to eat it).

My Kitty Frodo would give it a thumbs up if he had thumbs
I’ve been giving these to my cat who’s a bit on the skinny side—he gets one a day to help boost his calorie and nutrition intake. He absolutely loves the taste! The packaging is super convenient too—there are 20 small packets, and all you have to do is tear off the perforated top and squeeze it out. Super easy and mess-free!

Kittens love!
I foster kittens and have never had one that doesn’t like these! This is also very good to use for smaller kittens who aren’t eating as much. They can eat alone or add as a topper to encourage more eating.
