Woodlore Combination Shoe Tree, Size XXL

I have big feet. I know this and am reminded whenever I try to go shoe shopping. This shoe tree reminded me of that. It is a quality product, but the XX-Large (the largest size I could find) doesn't quite fit snugly into my size 14 2E shoes. The nice cedar construction serves the drying, preservation and bug repelling purposes, but as far as maintaining the shape of my shoe it is just "okay," hence my review.The width in particular is problematic. The flexibility of sizing of these trees is based on two spring-loaded adjustment axes--the tree will compress and then spring out to fit size both toe to heel and across where the balls of your feet are. The problem is that the totally decompressed width doesn't quite touch the sides of the 2E width shoes. The length gives a little bit more resistance, but barely much more.

I use the XX Large in my 13 (US mens') shoes. They are a bit loose, but the next size up is too big.
