Quality criss cross shredder - nothing left
This is a must buy!! I go through paper shredders annually as they get overheated and die on me. This is a quality product for the price. It does criss cross shredding so doesnt shred in lines it litterally disintegrates the paper. The guidance says it takes 8 sheets at a time and that is correct.

Great little shredder for the price
shredded for about half an hour from first use and it didn't overheat at all. Really good little shredder better than the one in our shared office. Although it says it takes 8 pages I think it would struggle and I only shredded two at a time which it handled easily. I even shredded a couple of old passports , but put the thick covers though separately. I filled the bin twice with all of the old paperwork, bills and old wage packets from 1988 Lol. Shreds into tiny bits so very secure. Hope it lasts a while but a good start. Great really for the price. Glad I chose this one.

Quick and efficient
Brilliant shredder. Having just retired we had hundreds of pages of old work info to be shredded. Our old shredder broke so we bought this one. It worked well no problems and after a week of shredding on and off we completed the task.Quick, efficient and really powerful. We also shredded old cards and it was brilliant. Very very pleased

Overheats too quickly.
Even though it does a great job of shredding paper into tiny little pieces, unfortunately it overheats far too quickly.First time around I got 30 minutes of continuous shredding before it overheated and stopped. I then had to wait 40 minutes for it to cool down.Second time around after the cool down - 20 minutes of continuous shredding, then wait 40 minutes to cool down.Third time around - 10 minutes of continuous shredding, then wait 40 minutes to cool down.I was careful not to overload - This was happening shredding 2 to 3 sheets of 70 & 80 gsm paper it would labour significantly, and probably speeds up the overheat time.Their claim that it can handle 8 sheets of 70 gsm paper? - Even though I did not try this, I would find it highly unlikely that it would successfully handle this much paper in one go.I am quite disappointed.Edit: I left it overnight to see if it would make any difference. Unfortunately not.First time around - 15 minutes of shredding, then wait 40 minutes to cool down.Second time around - 5 minutes of shredding, then wait 40 minutes to cool down. Each time after that, would be 5 minutes of shredding. It would appear that once it started overheating, this has set the tone of how the machine is going to continue operating. It has also started making squeaking and clanking noises. This is untenable. Perhaps I have a duff one so I think it needs to go back.

Bogs down at 6 sheets
Is a really good cross cut however, it says it can do eight sheets at once. I tried it at 6 and it nearly stalled so just a heads up,Works fine for my needs for just general post and bank statements so no one can pull them out the blue bin
