Durability is attested to your own degree of recklessness, ours just drops it occasionally and it’s scuffed but she’ shoots. gift for my 4 years old who loves taking pictures, easy for him to navigate and he bring it outside it is fine. The only thing though, there's a game installed which can be distracting for my kids who i tend limit their gaming time at this age.

Our daughter loves this. She's had an obsession with wanting our phones to play with the camera but we are afraid she'll break them. This solves that problem and more.It seems very durable, she's dropped and still works the same. She loves looking at herself in the selfie mode and other things.Another cool feature is the games and other functions on the device. So it's not just a camera but a general entertainment thing for her.It is small, which is good because helps the kids hold better.One thing to keep in mind if this is not going to take super high quality pictures so please don't buy with that expectation or you will not be happy. Is very poor in dim or low light. I expected all this though for the price and that it is. You have to be realistic with expectations and I would say for us, this was a good value!It's a nice soft color.We opted to not use the lanyard though due to safety but it comes down to your supervision and child's maturity level. Comes with a usb cable, memory card and memory card adapter. Not a bad bundle!

My grandson wanted a camera. I got him this one for Christmas. He is seven years old and he absolutely loves it! It can do video, it can take pictures, It can take selfies, it has games on it, it comes with a microSD card to offload the pictures and videos so you can put them on a computer or print them and it comes with the box to put the microSD card in to hook it into your USB a connection.The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the piece that hooks to the camera to hook the neck strap to or an arm strap will break if it’s hit too hard or dropped !!! my grandson’s broke and I had to find another type of handle to put on it. I did contact the company, but nothing happened with it, which is sad because it’s such a great little camera.Great Purchase!

My 5 year old grandson was extremely excited to use his new camera on his upcoming birthday trip to Kennedy Space Center. He was able to take his “special pictures” of his adventures and looked forward to seeing them once he returned home. Once his parents tried to connect the memory card to the computer /tv to look at together as a family there was no data on the memory card to look at. Thinking they may have had a faulty memory card included with the camera, they bought a new memory card. However, once they inserted it into the camera, the camera still didn’t recognize the memory card.So we are unable to save the few photos that my grandson has on the camera, and he is unable to take any future photos since the camera has met its internal memory limit.This camera is worse than a single disposable camera, since there’s no way to retrieve the photos in the first place. There were some super cute photos that we’ll never get to keep or even see beyond a 3-inch screen on the back of the camera! We are all disappointed, but none as disappointed as my grandson. I purchased this camera early enough before his birthday to ensure I could send it and it would arrive in time for his birthday. By the time he took his special trip to the Space Center, the 30 day return window had closed.
