When I received the package from amazon.. the bottle was opened so I did get a whiff of it and it did smell good. Although, I am no authority on scents so take it with a grain of salt! Good day! Yes, it does have lavender in it, but it is a very lite scent. Yes. I use this lotion year round, in the warm and cold months. It is a very lite lotion, and not a heavy cream. Silky and smooth! I hope this helped you.
