This JOY display is fantastic! The packaging was very well done. The letters & nativity are very thick and durable. The rod brackets are all metal, so they won't break. The rods that go in the ground and hold the display up are very sturdy, thick, stainless steel and go in the ground pretty deep. There were no instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out. The back of the display has little indents where you're supposed to place the screws for the brackets that slide over the rods.We have gobs of snow and wind so I wanted them off the ground and attached to our deck railing. I placed the display where I wanted it, adjacent the railing balusters, and marked the backside where I wanted the brackets placed. I screwed the brackets in, going up & down, rather than sideways, which helped with fastening it securely with zipties. (I love zipties.)The 36 inch tall angels matched the JOY size perfectly, although they are very slightly less white than the white in the JOY nativity scene, but not overly noticable. Search VINGLI Outdoor Christmas Angels, 3ft for the angels. The angels have plastic brackets, with metal screws and rods that are less substantial than the JOY display, but that didn't matter too much to me because the plastic brackets were sturdy enough to attach the angels to the railing. See my photo comparison of the metal rods. I actually used several left over angel brackets in a few places on the JOY display for extra support.I set out two LOHAS dawn to dusk spotlights. The lights are not overly bright and they have a softer glow, rather than a bright, blinding white, which I prefer for this application. The “Joy” Christmas outdoor display was well constructed and easy to put together and install in our yard. It was made of what appears to be a thick glossy acrylic/wood composite sandwiched board material that is both lightweight and sturdy. It withstood driving winds and rain and below 20 deg temps with no ill effects. We used a simple flood light to highlight it at night and it looked very beautiful! I was thinking of making a display like this out of plywood…but this was a far better choice for me. Storage is easy since each if the letters are separate and lightweight and flat. You wont regret this purchase!

I’ve been wanting a white nativity scene for quite a while. I can’t tell you how much I love this one. It is sturdy but not heavy. We had strong winds today and with the stakes it held firm. It was very easy to put together, and I am awful at assembly, once I see part A, I am out!It only takes a few screws and brackets. Other than a few misaligned holes, which is common in products like this, it was a breeze. I put solar lights in front of it which really added a nice touch. Next year I think I’ll add the angels on either side. If you’re looking for a beautiful lawn ornament that is not ridiculously priced, I cannot recommend this more.

Perfect size and very sturdy.

I love it! It is very well made. Vibrant color easy to put together and install. I had a similar one for years but it was wooden and eventually deteriorated. I have been looking for another one for a couple of years and I'm so glad I found this one. I shine a spot light on it and it looks so beautiful on my front lawn. I know this one will last a long time!

Joy to the world. This is a nice display but the red could be a little more vibrant. The product was cleverly packed to ensure it arrives intact. I'm not sure what the letters are made of but looking at the edges of the letters it looks like pressed wood of some sort. It's fairly easy to assemble just don't over tighten any of the screws. I inserted toothpicks into the 5 holes of the assembled nativity scene and the 5 holes of the letter “O” to line them up otherwise it's hard to get all five screws to go into the “pre-drilled” holes of the letter “O” without a lot of fuss or misalignment. I drilled 4 holes in the porch floor to insert the stakes. Then I used clear packing tape to hold the stakes higher up on each letter for better support in the wind only allowing about 6 inches of the stakes to be inserted into the porch decking. But to make it really sturdy I mounted large shelf brackets to the back of each letter. I'm hoping this assembly will hold up to the westward wind and rain that sweeps across my porch.

I unboxed the JOY nativity to inspect it and ensure all components were intact. Although I haven't assembled it yet, my review focuses on the product's quality and packaging. I thought purchasing this for $99.99 was a steal since I've seen it as high as $180. Now it's marked down to $87.99, wish I would have waited.I was very impressed with how well the JOY was packaged; each piece was securely nestled in foam sheets, preventing any movement during shipping and avoiding any scratches or dents. The nativity stands quite tall, as you can see it against my garage wall (via photos, that’s a golf putter standing next to the J for perspective), and each piece is approximately ¾” thick with pre-drilled holes. While removing it from the box was easy, returning it to the foam and sliding the large decoration back into the box took some time, so keep that in mind when it comes time to put decorations away after the holidays.I haven't yet looked at the instructions for installing the steel posts, but it seems straightforward at first glance. My only concern is whether the holes in the JOY, star and family will hold up after repeated assembly and disassembly each year. For now, I'm giving it four stars, and may update my rating after the holidays if I find the assembly and disassembly process to be easy.
