I started laughing from the second page itself, even though the situation was not favorable and a c0rpse was nearby. 🤣I usually don't like Friends to Lovers trope but the author did a great job in executing it. The MMC was obsessed with her and wanted to start out as friends so he introduced a friendly competition which is to find out information of a person they're supposed to k!ll with just the location.They meet every year to try and win this competition and that's how the story progresses. The plot builds through different years and so does their chemistry. It was on point from the beginning till the end.I loved the banter, slow burn & touch her/him and d!e vibes.Definitely recommending this one to y'all, but only if y'all are into Dark RomCom and also please check the trigger/content warnings before reading. 🖤Can't wait to read 'Leather & Lark' 😆

i love the book cover, the characters especially Sloane, I'm a big fan!!! The orb weaver thingy is chefs kissI did not took the trigger warning seriously, but I tell you this book is the book in which you can't skip the trigger warnings, and if you did, you will be attacked by the triggering points, which may traumatise you for your lifeI loved the characters of the book Rowan and Sloane are so cute together...I loved the plotbof the bookYes, this book is not for every reader or every dark romance reader you have to be prepared for the book.This was my first time reading such book and i loved

I devoured this book in one sitting, and have re-read it 5 times since. This is my current favourite book. This is my first book by this author but I'll surely read more of her work. I highly recommend this book. Also Rowan is a marshmallow.

Another book recommendation by the same person who recommended Bride. This is supposed to be a “Romance” read, but clearly my tastes differ. I do love a nice romance, but I much prefer tales of normal people living a loving life. These authors seem to be competing on describing gory/smutty/vomit-inducing scenes. Here both the mml and the mfl are serial killers - both equally sadistic and brutal. They inevitably end up liking each other and the violence continues, albeit in a ewww kind of way. I suppose there is an audience for this type of thing, but I’m not it. I’ll be steering clear of this person’s recommendations from now on.

Woohoooo this was something I have never read before and I am glad that I did listen to the audiobook, it made the experience to next level. Both the butcher and the blackbird are delicious in ways And they are a great team together. The epilogue gave me goosebumps and I hope to listen to the next book in the series soon.I say this to my friends that booksta gives good recommendations and I started this book totally because of all the raving happening on IG about it. My friends were loving it and I wanted to try something new and I am happy about it.

AGAIN?!?!?!i ate this book up like my favourite edible ice-cream and i can't stop obsessing over sloane and rowan. they're everything, literally everything.when brynne said this book is a d@rk rom com, i didn't have any idea about how deliciously d@rk and hilarious this book was going to be. from the very first page to the very last one, i didn't get bore of a single second. it's c@ptivating and you're going to enjoy every second of it.i gotta admit, both rowan and sloane called me single in 15 different languages 💀🤚 they're perfect.forget everything and read this book. i mean 🥣 🔪 besties? annual 🔪 competition? friends to lovers? dark rom com? sm3xy as h3ll (enough to make you want to buy yourself a t0y if you already don't own one)? WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING GO READ THIS BOOK.READ THE BOOK OR ELSE I WILL SEND THE ORD WEAVER AFTER YOU.
