Good but supplied power lead is pathetic
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great psu but the supplied power lead is poor it is too loose in the power inlet and wiggles about and you can here it crackle under load ... Had a spare lead that I used... Just hope my components are not damaged

Great Quality, Great Buy
Great build quality and attention to detail as always from EVGA, looks great, love the textured finish, it has nice long well braided cables with good quality plugs and more than enough for most builds. The inclusion of the tester adapter thingy, proved very useful too, as there was a gap between receiving it and actually installing the unit into my build, so saved me any stresses about whether it actually worked without the hassle of installing and connecting it to find out, which is a big plus. Why other companies can't have the foresight and consideration to chuck one of these testers in the box with their PSU's is beyond me, they must only cost, less than 50p to produce. The double ball bearing fan should last well and is completely silent, atleast to my ears, all I can hear is the sound of the moving air, with the case panel off and with it on nothing, which is fantastic.Register serial number with EVGA and you get an excellent 5 year warranty too,Overall a great buy, got mine when on offer for less than £60 and I'm well pleased with it.

I took a chance and it proved to be a good bet.
I took a chance and it proved to be a good bet.My dell XPS 8300 had died, only a green light on the Power Supply and a amber light on the Mother Board, no fans working at all. With some trepidation I connected the new EVGA 500 B1, 80+ BRONZE 500W Power Supply while it was on the outside of the Dell casing, and after some trial and error connections' it booted up like a good one. With three plugs fitted to the Mother Board, and two plugs to the Graphics Card and a power plug to the 'C' Drive I was back in business.I was so pleased that my Dell was back up and running again, as I feared that the Mother Board was faulty, but not so.I can 'Highly Recommend' this Power Supply, as you can tell, I am very pleased!

Early signs are good
Installed the day I received it. Got it to replace a Corsair 600w PSU, that after several power cuts, started to play up ( Fan started to spin way too fast). EVGA PSU is very quiet, fully modular with plenty of extra outputs should you need them. Cables included seem to be slightly higher quality then the ones that came with previous Corsair PSU's. Only time will tell if it lasts. Find myself purchasing more and more EVGA brand hardware as time goes. In general, EVGA make good quality hardware, with high end components ( capacitors etc ). For the price and features, a great PSU so far.

Delivers a decent amount of power with no coil whine
I got this not only for its modular design but for its oem, this unit was built by superflower and they have great reliability. My other choice was the riotoro onyx 750w modular built by seasonic, I chose the evga based on my experience of superflower psu's.The cables are a little stuff so be prepared for fun cable management especially from behind the motherboard tray. The fan profile is not aggressive and seems to keep the psu cool without getting too loud, not Audible over the front intake fans. This psu replaced a very noisy corsair cx 650 that was 6 months old that developed coil whine that became irritating under load, although it was fine I had to replace it. This is the second time I have had a corsair psu do this chirping budgie noise.I would definitely recommend a one of these over the corsair vs or cx line

Good PSU, slightly bigger than expected.
A good PSU, very quiet. Cannot hear fan when in operation. One minor issue, it is an over-sized PSU, well it is the biggest I have ever used. From back (where mains power cable connects) to front (where all your component cables are attached) it is "longer", about a centimetre or two. This caused me a problem when installing as I had to jam some cables into my case. Obviously this is case dependent.Overall very satisfied with the item.

It'll handle a medium powerhouse
I've built a 4k video editing computer and choose this power supply after many hours of reading blogs. At this price I think is the best value now.The noise level is very, very low. I cannot really hear anything and the cooling fans I built in the pc house are much louder.Installing is typically depends on the type of house you choose whether is easy or not. in my case it was a little challenging, but given the high quality cable management from EVGA and the high built quality I managed to do myself in about 30 minutes.

Interesting experience
It performed well, and I was happy enough with it.It did, however, stop working in a year. It wasn't a major problem as it was within the warranty of the product but with all the packaging and delivery cost I basically had to pay half the price again.I assume for more expensive products, sending the products back to them would still be worth it, but in this case, it did get me to seriously consider just buying another one. Which shouldn't be the case for a product which is expected to last way more than a year.So far, since using the warranty, it has yet to break...but it hasn't been a year yet so who knows.
