I like to wait to write my reviews. My wife loves this thing. Powerful, durable, recharges pretty quick. It tackles ice and everything she puts in it. It is portable and we can take it camping. Great value

This little blender worked just fine (for its inexpensive price) for less than one month.It charges with a usb cable (that comes with product) but cannot be used while it’s charging. Now each morning I fill up my blender, turn it on, it fails. I have to plug it in with ingredients in it, try to get a little charge enough to make a smoothie. Then clean it, charge for 3-5 hours (as instructions say) and find that it doesn’t work again the next morning. Trying to get Brookstone to help - fingers crossed.

This is so convenient! If I need to make a smoothie at work or on the go, this is perfect and it uses and usb c charger

I bought this portable blender for my teenage son who has started working out and drinking protein shakes. He didn’t have such good experiences with shaker bottles because the protein powder would never completely dissolve and he could not add peanut butter or banana to his shakes. I used to have to drag out my big blender each time he needed a shake. This portable blender mixes his shakes nicely and there’s no powder residue left behind. I tried making a blueberry banana smoothie in it too and it worked fine and really blended the fruit (note: fruit has to cut into small chunks for best results). Clean-up was easy too and the USB charger worked fine. Read the directions about the order in which to add smoothie ingredients because if you put them in the wrong order, they may not mix well. The directions are there for a reason. :-)

I thought that since this is Bose brand, it would have a decent motor, but a single ice cube or a few frozen berries seems to make it stall. You can get around this by tipping it sideways or upside down while blending, but still, it frequently gives error lights when in use and just stops working. It does well with non-frozen items, fwiw.

I bought another brand that you plug in but wanted one for traveling and felt this would be good. This was a waste of money because it worked only once and then wouldn't come on again. The cup is good but the machine is worthless so don't waste your money. I use the cup after I use my plug-in machine so the cup is useable so it wasn't a total lost.
