As a Retired Firefighter, this project was a lot of fun doing.I did swap out the rubber bands that was used as fire hose with shoe lace.A funny side note, I never seen a fire hydrant on a ladder or engine before. 🤣

I’ve probably built close to 50 of these kits over the years from a lot of different companies and this was by far my favorite. It’s very challenging but sturdy. Not a beginner friendly puzzle but well made and very fun.

I am just finishing this build and it has been addicting. I love doing it!! However, this puzzle is not arthritis friendly. I had to cheat and glue a couple pieces together because I couldn’t manipulate the tiny pieces. With that being said, I will probably get another one of these to do for a friend

This is a great wooden model. Complex- I’m enjoying it quite a bit.Throwing a question out there, because I don’t know where else to turn:I managed to break part #46, part of the spring assembly- and broke it beyond repair. Is there any way I can get another one so I can finish this truck properly?

This was my 12th project,reading a print putting pieces together and most of all it works and displays a finished look.

parts fit really well, finished product is awesome. Customer service in incredible. Warning: be very careful following instructions. Sometimes assembly is vague but you can figure it out.

This was my first time building any type of wood model but needed something to start me off after retiring. The model itself is incredible and the fact they provide some spare parts is a very welcome thing. I managed to break both of the ladder elevation supports the first time through but thankfully there were spares. The model was a great way to pass time. The working parts all worked flawlessly once completely assembled. The details on the wood pieces makes the assembled model look even better. Would consider getting another one and painting it but concerned about some of the close tolerances on pieces and how the paint might affect the fit and operation.My only complaint with this model is the rubber bands. Within less than 6 months of completion of the model, the rubber bands began to break/deteriorate. Even if there were spare ones, I'm not sure they could all be replaced and have the model remain sturdy after deconstruction/reconstruction.Overall, very satisfied with the model and have been looking for others to build next.
