Read for honest feedback
I bought this bag months ago, but finally recently used it. I have been through several types of bags over my years of needing a rooftop cargo bag. This bag has had a lot of thought and quality go into it.The bag holds A LOT! I got the 28cu ft. I love the 3 bag option but only used 1 of the bags on this recent trip, and used the remaining free space for larger items. I love that the bag can be opened all the way so I can be sure to use the bag to full potential if needed. The zipper closes easily, and seems well made for a lot of use. I recently threw away two other bags after other small trips due to breaking zippers.Next, I love the velcro on the straps to limit how tight I need to tie down the straps. We drove well over 70mph for 2 hours both ways and a strap never needed adjusting. The bag is waterproof, and not made out of rigid waterproof material that is hard to handle. My only minor complaint is the bags made for use inside of the bag can not be carried by the straps if the bag is heavy. We had maybe 15 lbs worth of items and the handle started to tear off the bag. Once we noticed that, it changed how we handled the bag, but it is still usable.I will update this post after my next trips in a few weeks if there is anything to add or that may change this review, but I do not see that happening.

Buy it, you'll like it!
I must say that I had my doubts, but I was very impressed. The drive back we had several heavy rain storms during a 12+ hour trip, zero water inside. Zero wear and tear. It doesn't come with one so I bought a separate roof protector. My suggestion is lay the bag out on the floor and see how your bags are going in first. Let's just say it's not easy to figure out while your neighbors are setting fireworks off right over your head.

5 star customer service
Perfect for a family traveling into the city and country. With a rigid roof box we would have had issues in a parking garage however, with this unit we were easily able to fit in a city parking garage. Additionally, the support I received when we had a an issue was top notch. Thank you

Great for long distance moving
Okay - so picture this, January, I'm moving from West Virginia to Louisiana by myself. Moving guys driving the bulk of my stuff but car will still be totally full. Purchase this on recommendation from a friend. It is totally wonderful and worth the investment. MY ONLY WARNINGS come dependent on the season (and car model) and/or your height! The seasons: I was moving in January and loading my car in a parking lot that had a lot of ice that hadn't melted. My car (crosstrek) doesn't have door frames that make it super easy to step up on and load things. Unfortunately, because it was so icy, I couldn't put down a step stool. So, double check that your car is easy to step up or make sure you can use a stool! My height: I encountered an issue at the last minute where I couldn't get it zipped in the back of the car because it was just a bit too tall and awkward away from where I could reach. Again, if I could have used a stepstool, it would have been fine. It's definitely ideal to be able to strap it down to roof racks and I didn't feel that things slid around much. It stayed dry and felt safe. Great buy.

Great car roof bag, cheap lock
We bought the 15/19 expandable roof bag. It fit 3 hardside suitcases (28", 24", and 20" carryon), the largest of which was expanded. We did need to expand the roof bag to 19 to accommodate the 28" suitcase while expanded. There was a little room left over for possibly a couple small items (toiletry bag size). We drive a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan with roof rack cross bars. The Pacifica side bars are not raised, but we were successfully able to secure the bag using only the crossbars. We did purchase a roof non slip mat separately on Amazon and placed that on top of our car roof first to protect it, just as a precaution. We opted to use a couple of bungee to help secure the bag to the crossbars, just as a precaution, but they really didn't seem necessary and the bag felt secure without them. The bag itself was very heavy duty quality material with a wipe-clean interior. The zippers were good quality. It took us about one hour to assemble the protective mat, roof bag, and luggage onto the car rooftop, but bear in mind it was our first time using a roof bag. Someone more experienced might be able to knock it out quicker than we did. It was easy to figure out how to use it. The bag opened up nice and wide, making it easy to put our luggage inside it. The straps were strong and sturdy and secured well. The lock included was cheap quality and we plan to replace it with a different lock, but it served it's purpose for first time use to get us going. The lock felt like it could be easily removed if someone tugged hard enough. That being said, if someone really wanted to get into the roof bag, the lock wouldn't prevent someone from cutting open the bag. However, the bag itself is made with such strong material, we think it would be very hard for someone to cut through it. So, we think buying a sturdier lock will help prevent theft of property. It was windy when we were driving, and we had no issues with the wind factor. The bag made absolutely no noise and remained secure the entire 5-6 hour trip. It didn't affect our ability to drive at typical high speeds on Texas highways, but we drove about 5 miles under the posted speed limits just to be safe. We didn't drive in rain, but we think people who had issues with rain getting into the bag may have installed it backwards. There is one side without a zipper and that end should probably be located toward the front end of the car to prevent rain water potentially finding its way inside, which is how we installed ours. The carry case included is also very sturdy and made of the same material as the bag. I've included photos of the size dimensions for the carry bag. It fits very well inside the stow and go area of our Pacifica with plenty of room to spare for other items. The protective mat be bought separately also fit inside the carry bag with the roof bag. We are giving this item 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the poor quality lock.

Great Customer Service!!
Took this roof pack on two separate 16 day island tours and it was fantastic. I used a "door step" to help me get better access since I am short but having extra space for items not needed all the time was great. When it is full be sure to measure total heights of car because on my car we were too tall to get into parking garages. On my second trip I lost the pouch that stores the bag and the company was incredible!!! they are sending me a replacement bag at no cost. I highly recommend this product and their customer support!!!
