Great "natural" product, works well
I have been using this for about a month now (once weekly application on my cat), in addition to Vet's Best Flea & Tick Home Spray on my carpets. It has been great and really reduced the amount of fleas we've had. I bet if we vacuumed more and used the Home Spray more (only been doing it once every other week), they'd be gone. (Life got in the way, oops!) Smell isn't too bad, either. But cat hates it, of course.

Works Well Enough
I really like this, and find it effective, but it's not effective as it claims. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I should take away another star for that, because I generally expect companies to exaggerate some claims as it is.I love how fleas end up hating it so much after a couple of hours, they'll ditch my dog and start getting on me, or some other surface, where I can see and grab them (and drown them in soap. They die in 5 seconds though so it's not too much suffering. And yes, I just said that about a flea. Fleas literally exist to be a nuisance, no their fault). They abandon her in a few hours if I spray her 3+ times around her body. She doesn't care much for grooming anything but her stomach and chest, so it's safe to do that with her. Also, if you directly spray a flea with this, it will quickly disorient them so they can't get away, and then kill them. It's easy for me to look for fleas on my dog since she's a long-haired single-coat mix. However, there's four negatives to the product.1) It doesn't work well on cats, because you can't really spray them anywhere but the shoulder blades. Cats groom themselves too much, and that's one of the very few spots they can't reach. Fleas will still jump on them and decide to stay around the rear, belly, or chest.2) While from experience I can say it's hard to overuse it on a dog (my dog has had no negative reactions to frequent sprayings, and I've watched her closely), I wouldn't want to even test that on a cat because they are sensitive to cloves, and this product uses cloves. Ticks and fleas hate cloves especially so I understand why they do. It's just not good for cats, though, and if they ingest it, it can be extremely toxic.3) You have to use the product far more than it says, which is how I judge the "overuse" of it. It says you only have to spray the animal a few times, rub it into the coat, and it's good for a week. Haha, no. Try a day. If you want to be extreme about the flea reduction and prevention, and you use it on two dogs a day, then it will last you a little over a month.4) My dog hates it, and I suspect most do. It's really strong and again, is probably the cloves. I know you may not expect a dog to like any kind of flea-repellant spray, but there's actually essential oils out there they either don't mind, or like, that also repel fleas. She usually goes the other way when she sees me with the bottle.Overall I would recommend this for your dog, if you don't want a DIY spray for everyday-use. It does it's job if you exaggerate the instructions and I think it's inexpensive.Note: I haven't mentioned anything about ticks because we don't have them (...yet?). Thank goodness.

Great way to keep fleas at bay. Smells great and pets don’t seem to mind it. Dogs or cats

Works and is safe
No, it won't kill all fleas immediately but it won't make you or your pet sick either. Be diligent does work. I spray it on everything our dog lies down on I even spray our bedding. We moved to an area that has fleas, new to us for sure. Easy to use on our dog who doesn't like to be sprayed and it does seem to be working.

*update .. Doesn't seem to do much at all and leaves a residue on the pets
*Update...Doesn't seem to do very much at all. And there fur feels greasy. The smell lingers on furniture and bedding. I want to return the item that I ordered on Jan 6th but Amazon says it's 3rd party return. I cannot seem to find out the information to return it ARK Naturals.I can't say too much about the product yet because I just started using it on my dogs. The scent is strong and it lingers for a while.

Flea Flicker Tick Kicker Ark Natural
I have used Flea Flicker Tick Kicker for several years as I like Ark Natural Products. This entire summer I have used nothing but this on my two Border Collies. I RELIGIOUSLY SPRAY IT ON EVERY SEVEN DAYS. If you go over even one day, it will not work. Or if your dog gets really wet you must re-apply. Using it with no commissions, every seven days, I have had ONE tick on my dog this year. Live in Maryland on a farm with many deer and high grass so ticks are abundant. I have had no fleas but we do not usually have a huge flea problem though we do have a few feral cats roaming around. So this spray WORKS with conscientious use. Last summer was the same, I had a total of three ticks on a total of three Border Collies. The spray bottles suck, very cheap and you must pour the spray into a decent spray bottle as soon as you get the spray. That does not bother me much and I do think this is an excellent natural spray. Keep in mind you MUST cover every spot on the dog. The one tick I have had so far this year was on his neck right where the collar would have been that I had on him to control him while I sprayed. One dog does not mind the scent while the other does not like it. Too bad, it does work if you want to spray weekly without fail. As for me, I like the scent.
