Genuine part, still working well with my vacuum

It worked great for the first 6 months. But will no longer hold a charge. Disappointed it didn't last longer. Wouldn't buy again.

I purchased this as a backup to my Dyson V15 Detect battery. It was easy to install, smoothly clicked in place. It came with a 15% charge. Equivalent to the Dyson battery as far as charge time, power, and run time.

Battery seems to last as long as the original Dyson.

I’ve had this battery replacement. For a few months dn at least every other day the battery needs to be ejected and replaced for it to work. Also the full battery charged only provides 45mins of use of reg power. Need to replace now.

Did not fit how it should . I had to modify the two sides a little for it to fit flush

For my price paid I received a defective battery the first time - no spring in the latch to keep the battery attached to my vacuum. Okay, I get a return mid-April. I vacuum once-twice weekly, so the battery has been used 8-10 times or so, never run down completely, and the vacuum lives in the wall charger.And now it's dead, I'm outside the return window, and I get to find a replacement. Dyson doesn't sell the battery anymore, btw.

Bought this to have constantly charged for use when the other runs out. Takes awhile to recharge, so having this extra one on hand saves time.
