Dell will not provide support. I had issues connecting to a Dell Inspiron and I contacted them, they had no record of the monitor and would not provide support for it. I even sent a picture of the Service Tag and Express Service Key and they still could not locate it. But since my Inspiron was brand new, they helped me solve the problem.

Got this through work. For $200, this would be a five star product. For $500, it's a ripoff. For me, one of the big pitches was the fact that it had a built-in camera and a built-in speaker and microphone. In reality, the camera works great, but the speaker is hot garbage. It produces a tinny sound. I can high quality sound from a $15 Amazon Echo Dot.The USB hub features are nice but not very ergonomic because they require you to tilt the whole monitor and the stand is not very sturdy-- it is constantly shaking. Debating returning it.The picture quality is acceptable, but the resolution is not great, and coming from an iMac retina monitor that was 10 years old made me feel like I was going back in time to a more primitive era.Dell's tech support is useless and dehumanizingly bad.

I think others have had compatibility issues which I can’t comment on. It works well with my work laptop that’s running windows. Avoids the need for separate webcam and speaker phone. Camera is pretty good quality and audio loud enough. You will need to update the firmware version via dell website to avoid bugs.

I almost regret buying this monitor but got a good enough deal on it that made it worth the headache. I always wanted an all in one monitor to supposably simplify things. Dell support was for the most part not knowledgeable about the monitor. To update this monitors firmware, you have to disable the web cam, in the monitor settings, then run the update utility. Failing to do this will give an error and failed to update message. I spent hours on Dell support to finally get this info. This information should have been in the instructions. Also, in the monitor settings, turn the volume all the way up and select the sound type you want. I chose "music". You can't access these settings on the PC. once the volume is at 100% on the monitor settings you can use the PC volume to control volume. Default volume is 20%, I had my PC volume maxed out and was only getting 20% until I did this. The last thing is: I ran into an issue of no sound coming out of the speakers. I wasted alot of time troubleshooting this to finally fix it by unplugging the HDMI cord from the PC and plugging it into a different HDMI port. What a headache, no wonder why people give the monitor low ratings. Oh, you need to download the Dell display manager application? So you can use the web cam. Very poor instructions.Once you get past all the problems and get the monitor set up, it's a very good monitor. I like that there is a lens cover for the camera to ensure privacy. The camera is disabled when the lens cover is in the closed position. Sound quality is really good for such small speakers, it can get very loud too. I'm able to play music at a very low background type sound level and play a video at normal sound at the same time.

Picture quality is good. Features are good (if they worked like they should). I work for an IT shop which has deployed over 20 of these. People are reporting that microphone and speaker cut out often, and requires unplugging the usb-c cable from the laptop then plugging it back in. Dell Support has not been helpful. Monitor firmware update does not help (when the firmware update application works).
