Better than other brands, not inferior quality as some reviews say
Tried a few other brands available online here in the UK before buying this. Vinod idli maker seems to be of far better quality than the others. However, the idlis it make are quite small and also the whistle noise is too high if the vessel is fully tightened.

Misleading Listing..
I recently ordered an idli cooker listed on Amazon... However, the product I received differs significantly from what was advertised. Here are the key discrepancies..ā¢ Handle Design:Advertised: Features rounded, ergonomic black handles.Received: The cooker has different, more squared handles, suggesting a different design or brand...ā¢ Lid Design:Advertised: The lid has a steam vent and a top knob with a circular grip...Received: The lid is different in shape, lacks proper steam release features, and looks cheaper in build.ā¢ Idli Plates:Functional Issue: The plates have multiple unnecessary holes all over, causing the idli batter to fall through and making them unusable.Quality Concern: The plates have visible scratch marks and appear poorly finished..ā¢ Condition of the Cooker:The cooker itself has scratch marks and visible black stains, making it look used or previously handled..The overall build feels cheap and not as advertised..

Just love it..
Such a great product with the good price range.. easy to use and good for induction base and other gas tops .. works great makes idli very soft .. we just love it

Poor quality plates and defective item received
The plates inside are of very poor quality and the stand is tilted. Also the depth of the plates is too shallow to make a good idli . Iām planning to either return or get an exchange for a good one

Never recommend
Th quality is worst and I have posted the photos I can see something black dust on every plate and rust on each plate honestly I was very disappointed by the quality and never recommend this product also the plates were so delicate
