Glad I bought a reliable brand
This one cost a bit more than the chinese replica bulbs, though it seems like the construction is better and I believe that the longevity will also be better. it is as bright as I expect, comes on fast enough and I imagine that it should last many years as it rated at 10000 hours. the last import copy bulb i bought was cheaper, and it only lasted a couple years at best with very little use.

Works great in my trouble light
My trouble light gets banged around a lot as I'd suspect most do, being on the end of a length of electrical cord, such that the bulb didn't light. Had to figure out how to dismantle it, but once apart there was socket for this flourescent bulb so just plugged it in, reassembled case, then it was back to working. Don't know how long these last...they should add catergory "I don't know (yet)" for questions like this, since I just bought it, how should I know how long it will last? Premature question...if you really want to know, ask me again or let me update this review later on when it burns out.

Tip: Re-size the picture on your phone or tablet to determine the size you need.
I knew I needed a 13 watt tube because it was clearly stated on the base of the tube I was replacing. But I know from past experience that isn't always the case. So I confirmed this was the right tube by viewing and resizing the picture on a tablet until it matched up to the tube that was being replaced. Here are the measurements as close as I can tell:The length of the two u-shaped tubes is 2 15/16" from the ceramic base to the top of the tube. The rounded square, ceramic base measures 1 5/16" across by about 3/4" deep (including the smaller portion of the base to which the prongs are attached). The brass prongs are 1/4" long, and the plastic, pronged fitting at the bottom is 7/8" long by about 1/2" wide. This tube replaced a Sylvania Dulux D 13W CF13DD/827 that had itself probably been a replacement tube. It was purchased for a solitary recessed fixture in our kitchen. (We also have five bright, recessed LEDs when we need lots of light, and a 14" Solatube with nightlight that provides sufficient daylight, and a small amount of night light when properly charged by the sun). The tube I purchased is a 3000k because I don't need a lot of light from that fixture. If you need more light then you might want to go higher. The new tube fit into the fixture quite firmly with a only a small amount of persuasion. It flickers for a brief second when turned on, then stays on and provides enough light for a quick visit to the kitchen when the night light is too dim and the five LEDs are too much. It makes a fine replacement for the previous tube.

Bulb fits and functions, but is a bit odd
These bulbs will flicker and buzz for a second or two when first switched on. After that, they work fine. The original Panasonic bulbs that were replaced never did either of those things and have worked for over a decade.

They work fine once you get past the flashing
They work fine once you get past the flashing for for the first few seconds after you turn them on. I had them in my bathroom celling tan/light and didn't like the flashing so I replaced them with "GX23 LED Bulbs, 6W LED 2-Pin PL Horizontal Recessed Lamp, 13W Equivalent CFL Bulbs Warm White 3000K 2-Pack" had have no more flashing.
