Great pan, but big handle
I had a Lodge 10.25" and wanted something bigger. I'd heard great things about this pan so I decided to go for it. As far as I can tell it is similar in quality and weight to my Lodge Cast Iron pan. The non-stick (from the seasoning) is reasonable straight out of the box. I seasoned it a couple of more times after using it once (as I do with all my Cast Iron) and the result is much better.My only negative is the handle. I appreciate this can be both a positive and a negative for some, but the handle is quite long. And while this keeps the handle cooler longer, although when frying for a long time it still gets too hot to hold bare-handed, it also means it is much more difficult to fit in the oven (I have a Rangemaster with double ovens).Bottom line; this is a good cast iron pan, especially for its pricepoint, but if I was to get another 12" cast iron pan, that I would also use in the oven, I would probably go for the Lodge.

good size pan but poor seasoning
good size pan for preparing breakfast but lost its seasoning in first wash. I have lodge cast iron pan which is fat better.
