WARNING: toxic ingredients!
Did not know this had talc in it as the main ingredient. Talc is scientifically proven to be toxic and harmful. Especially when inhaled, it can cause lung cancer. Please do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY THIS. If you don't believe me, do your own research.

Fav.
So, first off No flashback.... there is so many mixed reviews on this but it has been my favorite one to date. I’m a stylist and travel for weddings.. I do bridal hair & makeup. I really think the mixed reviews comes from the actual way it’s used.If you’re using this as a full face powder then I wouldn’t suggest it for you.If you’re using it to bake your concealer then, yes! It’s for you. Also, using it this way does a great job with making your makeup last from the time you put your makeup on to when you take it off. It’s not cakey or thick, It’s “ Airy”... & your skin can breathe.Keep in mind too that you bake before you bronze, blush & highlight.. so when you wipe the access powder off after a few mins (I usually do my eye shadow or lips in this time) there is no way it should appear cakey, thick or noticeable in anyway. It’s purpose is to set your concealer & help create a smoother appearance over those concealed spots. (Under eye for example).

LAURA MERCIER DUPE
its perfect!!! It comes with so much product, and the puff it comes with is pretty handy. the application is smooth and is great for baking. My makeup came out flawless. I set my makeup with this and worked out right after. THERE WAS NO SEPERATION, NO CREASING. This powder blessed me. GOD BLESS.

Good for some things
Coty has a lot of mixed reviews for this. Some people swear by it. I'll say it's good for maybe 2 things:- If your foundation is just a little bit too dark or has a very noticeable red or yellow undertone this powder can help even that out and make the foundation look more natural.- If you 'bake' (do people still do that?) or need a under eye setting powder that provides a little more coverage then this works for that.Otherwise, I would not advise using this powder all over your face. Especially if you are a person of color. This is NOT fully translucent. It has a lightness/whiteness to it and if you use this all over as a setting powder you will likely look a little ghostly and pale. I'm black and I only use this all over when I have a foundation that's a little too deep in color or looks a little too red on me otherwise it makes my foundation look WAY too light and I look pale.Don't get me wrong, it's a very good quality powder (and it smells really good). It's just very dense and fine. I sometimes mix this with a tinted setting powder to make the other powder easier to blend because the consistency of the Coty powder is very blendable and smooth. It also leaves a very nice matte, air brushed finish. It's not a powder you just want to pile on all over your face though, it's heavy. But how and what you use it for will depend on how much you like it. It's definitely not for everyone.

WARNING: CONTAINS CANCER CAUSING ASBESTOS
After purchasing 2 of these I discovered that the talc powder used in this specific product contains 8-20% asbestos which can cause rare abdominal and chest cancers etc! Works fine but use at your own risk! There's a reason this is so inexpensive! I tried to return, but this product does not qualify for returns!

LOVE IT!!
I was recommended by a friend about this product. And so as to see them on youtube tutorials. It really helps to keep the makeup flawless and not get cakey. I love it! Enough to last quite some time.

Absolutely OBSESSED!
I am totally blown away by this product! I have been consistently using Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder for about 6 months, and was dissatisfied with the fact that my skin appeared greasy/oily by the end of the work day. By 5PM, I have been wearing my makeup for about 10 hours. I also live in a warm climate and have oily skin. By the end of my work day using this powder, my face is still very matte! I am THRILLED! This way outperforms the Laura Mercier powder and is 13% of the cost. Can't believe it. Never going back.

ALL TIME FAVOURITE
This is my all time favourite setting powder! You get A LOT of product, it has been enough to last me over a year (and still going). Very finely milled so sets makeup nicely, especially under the eyes. I get the translucent powder and I find that it’s lovely and brightening.I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the smell, but to be honest it’s not that bad. You definitely get used to it and the smell goes away pretty fast too. It’s a small price to pay for such a good setting powder!I recommend it to all my girl-friends. Such a steal too!(Here’s some unfiltered pictures of my face with this setting powder)

Very Good, but..
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I would give it 5 stars but the inside of the packaging, the small holes where the powder comes out, is raised up for some reason so it makes it harder for powder to come out. & if you press it.. it goes EVERYWHERE. Other than that, the powder is really really good! It doesn’t smell bad but it does have a scent, it makes your face feel so smooth and matte! And I wore it to work and my makeup has never looked so good ALL day considering I was sweating, you couldn’t even tell. Definitely worth it, just trying to get the product out is a pain. ( you can see in the video, that it’s raised and if you press it it bounces)

Really good
I NEVER write reviews ... I mean who has the time. HOWEVER. My Mac mineralize powder was running out and I was loathed to spend £26.00 on a new one. I love it but its a lot of money and the product size seems to have shrunk. I tried this out of sheer desperation and it totally paid off! I use a full coverage foundation - Studio fix so the foundation is pretty wet before powder, with my old powder you would get brush marks. With this I used the puff and a brush and the finish is great. Like powder used to be ... slightly blurring but not altering the colour of the make-up underneath. Its midday and so far I have not needed to blot and my face doesn't feel cakey. The product is also big ... like the size of your palm so money wise its an absolute bargain. The downsides?? The powder has an 'old lady' powder smell... like baby powder... I don't find this off putting. I rather see it as nostalgic. The twist lid can be hard to twist off when you have moisturiser and primer on your hands.IF you like a good coverage powder and want cheaper alternatives this is the one for you .

City Airspun loose face powder. Extra coverage
I have pale skin and do ware a lot of sun cream, in the hot weather. I liked the original translucent powder by Coty , made in the U.S.A. . Because it WAS translucent! In the true sense of the word. . It was value for money and didn't have an overbearing, cheap perfume smell. A little powder looked quite natural. It does contain parabens which is a no no! for me plus other chemicals. l hope that the occlusive sun cream, creates a protective barrier. As some of the products here, are reported to be carcinogenic. The primarily reason that l have to put a little powder, on top of the sun cream. Is that without it, l shine like a weather balloon. I tried this new upgraded powder, the difference is that it is NOT translucent yes but also it has a tint. A slight one but on my arm it is an obvious tint. It has a finer milled texture and It does last. You can see it on the skin and it can look obvious. I find the perfume in it, is far too strong and overbearing. I could smell it wafting in the air outside. We don't all like the smell of baby powder. Now this is made in China! Another no no for me, as they do not practice, none animal cruelty. Or have the same strict rules about additives. Not sure if l would buy this, new upgraded powder again. I will try to get hold of the old original one. It wasn't as finely milled but it doesn't stink like a baby's bottom. Clean baby's bottom l might add. Or look like caked Matt foundation. Hence the three stars. It's ok. But not as good as the original. Wish that l had stuck to that. Value for money? Only if you like it.
