I've had an iGeek DVD player since Covid first hit, and while it did the job it annoyed me from the get-go. The picture was yellow-ish on about half of the DVDs I watched, no matter how I adjusted the settings, and it was generally a noisy little machine. Lately, it has been really struggling to play DVDs - it will still play them, but you have to take the CD out, keep cleaning it, then keep cleaning the lens, etc., and after like, 10 minutes, you *might* be able to trick it to play. It felt like when the time is up on a car - you know it's time to move on to greener pastures. (This was after 4 years of fairly regular use because I borrow a lot of DVDs from the library to watch while I work.)I came back to Amazon to see what was out there and settled on the $108 DVD player that everyone was rating highly. It was pricey, sure, but if it gives me less hassle than my current one, it's worth the price. Well, nope - when that thing came, it was the size of a laptop because I did what I always do and missed reading the specs before I purchased it.So I happened upon this one - right price point, *seemingly* right size based on customer pictures, and when it came, I was so impressed! It feels like watching movies on my big-screen TV but at like, a 16th of the screen size, which is perfect for squeezing it onto my desk while I work. The sound quality blew me out of my chair - in fact, my son came out from his room to see if something was wrong it was so loud. I dropped it down to just one bar, and it was still at the perfect sound. I haven't watched a full movie on it yet, but I was impressed that it doesn't sound like a jackhammer when you're skipping around to different menus. Impressive picture, sound, and less noisy, plus it's even *smaller* than my iGeek (which I see as a plus). Most definitely the better purchase between this and the laptop-sized one. Highly recommend if you need a small-screened DVD player that does the job. And, not like I will need it for this, but it also works with your TV, which is pretty great if you need a DVD player and don't already use your gaming consoles like we do. And, of course, it comes with a car adapter for if you have kids in the car. At this price point, you honestly can't do better if you're looking for great quality in a smaller package.

A compact dvd player, came with all the charging cords, and remote control. It works great, I plugged it in to charge. Turned it on to test it out, the buttons are simple to read. The screen is bright and sound is good. Excited to use when me and the family go on trips! Kid friendly also if you are looking for that.

The media could not be loaded. What a great little unit.I posted a video showing how easy and seamless the player switches from DVD to USB Card reading, to SD Card reading. The external AV out works fantastic with every TV I tried. Amazing battery life for such a lightweight unit...don't know how they got all that power in such a lightweight package. I checked out the car battery adapter and it works to charge the battery just like it should. The crystal-clear HD monitor section of the DVD Player swivels as well as tilts so you can angle the screen in any direction needed to avoid the glare of sun or lights while enjoying your favorite movie.PRO's:- Excellent quality screen and visuals. Even when casting the picture and sound through the AV connection, the quality is maintained.- Simple to use in all modes.- The Long-Life Battery is fantastic for such a light unit. Entertainment for hours and hours.- I love that it plays my SD cards and USB Drive sticks. I don't have to fire up the desktop just to check out my latest photos or videos.- The unit even plays MP3's off an SD cards and USB Drive stick. Amazing!!!!- Works great in the back seat of my truck for the kids.CONs: None thus far, but I will update this review if I find any bugs.Highly recommended. Quite a bit of bang for the buck.

This is a great little machine! Lightweight, works seamlessly and you can twist the screen and hold the unit like a tablet if you want. The subtitles are good when watching a DVD, the sound is great as well ( I just always love subtitles on). Comes with a remote a charger to hook into your car, a charger for the wall and adapters to mirror the player to your TV. My only complaint would be that it takes about 4 hours to fully recharge but that's not a problem for me because I'm not doing movie marathons and I can just put it on to charge before I leave for work or put it on before I go to bed.Edit- removed one star because the remote control that came with it does not function. I've tried several sets of brand new aaa batteries with no success.

Great little unit. Use it for camping. Great addition to review trail cam SD cards. Easy to operate and compact. Would purchase again. Good warranty and response to inquiries with customer service.

Small and portable. Holds a charge for a decent amount of hours. Clear picture quality and sound. Was dropped accidentally and still works so also sturdy. Great dvd player for long car rides.

The media could not be loaded. This portable DVD player is better than expected, for just $40 it’s an awesome find. It has a great picture and it’s light weight. You definitely get your moneys worth. My parents have a newer Blu-ray/DVD player that wouldn’t play some of their older disc. This connects perfectly to their tv and has played every disc so far. My parents love the picture colors and performance. It is very easy to connect and play. The company is great also! I emailed for the warranty and the company replied thanking me for my purchase. They also replied if I have any problems please let them know. This kind of service is important to me but unheard of anymore. Wonderful customer service! You won’t be disappointed. Definitely worth trying!

Works great however pictures in the ad shows there is a way to attach it to a headrest. I can insure you that you can not do that. We got this one because of the particular feature shown in the ad. We will keep this for plane rides.
