I had to think for a full ten minutes before ordering and additional battery. It did seem so much of an indulgence and totally wasted, you get that right..?!But, it has, much to my relief and surprise, been an amazing buy.Please see photos.Using this with the headset, that comes with one battery, has totally extended the use to last for much longer.When we have family visiting, and our grandchildren like to use the headset. Having a spare battery is a must. Just hot swapping over and then placing the used one on charge is great to allow them to paly much longer, understand ing the headset also has its own battery.You will note a button on the top of these. Press once to turn on the battery, it will auto do this when attached. Press twice, quickly, and it will then power off. The LED's will reflect that. As the LED's also reflect the remaining charge.There is no buzzing from the headset when these are in use.Very much worth it and totally not an indulgence, lol.Happy gaming.

Very good battery life I haven’t had to use it yet as I’m still on the 1st battery and charging after use I’ve not had to get the 2nd as a spare out yet.

Works well but takes the headset of balance, so it’s not weighty equivalent on both ends this was a big issue do it so it sits on back so it’s weighted out equally

I got the Quest Pro head strap these are compatible with. The battery I got *with* the headstrap is just fine.I bought two more of these to hotswap with that one, so I can keep them charged. However, both these two additional ones are borderline useless now, less than a year later. Their battery life degraded noticeably by the half-year mark, and they maybe supply 30-45 mins more charge before dying completely, now. They take at least three times as long to charge as they last on a 25W power supply.I reiterate that the battery I got *with* the strap is just fine. That one still supplies me with roughly 2.5hrs of battery life, and it's lasted longer than these two have. I don't know what difference these ones have, but I can't recommend them.
